Where is the Catholic outrage over recent American immigration policies?

Maybe we should empty all of our prisons so all of the American children, who are separated from their criminal parents can also be reunited?

Trump isn’t the problem. There are powers far greater than him that are manipulating world events. At the very least people should blame Congress.

I’m not advocating this at all, just explaining what the media wants in order to stop being outraged over this.

The whole issue has nothing to do with immigration or the children, if Hillary Clinton had been elected, the same thing would have been happening but we would have never been informed to get outraged.
 
She has pointed out over and over that Congress can and should fix this.

Continue to support Catholic Charities for one. Up the letter writing and phone calls to my reps. Enroll my friends, neighbors and parishioners to do the same - although many are so pro-trump that i’m beginning be discouraged by the blind loyalty
 
She’s full of lies! The Trump’s and Clinton’s are elitist pals. What they say and what they do are two very different things. The politicians don’t care because they’re above everyone else. We are nothing but ignorant Peasants to them.

You have gone totally off the rails here… are you saying the Catholic Bishops are blind to the issue? You seem to be too anti-media to be able to judge the issue

I support the Bishops and the families being separated.

It won’t work. We have no control over this and the country’s involved in this quagmire have no intention of remedying the problem.

Not having open borders is anti-christian it’s ok if kids or their parents commit crime because muh fee fees. Really though the best thing would be to deport both the parents and children that way they aren’t separated!

Read my plethora of posts. I’ve advocated military intervention, economic sanctions, and UN Involvement. That doesn’t even cover the treasonous vipers within our Government.
 
Where’d I say that? They’re just doing their jobs as dictated by our overlords.

I will agree to this extent: it is Trump’s “policy” to enforce the law. The other option is “catch and release” where anyone arrested in the company of a child is simply set free. The result of this “policy” is that children are separated from their parents by smugglers so they can “accompany” hard core criminals for risk free entry. Let’s at least not pretend there are no hard choices here.
