How long before the 3 days of darkness? We will have warning.
I’m sure I’ll have bad luck and be stuck on a long commute home.
How long before the 3 days of darkness? We will have warning.
And if your soul burns with love of God, you will be a light for the World in the time of tribulation. We are living in a Dark Time.
Keep your lamp wick trimmed & your lamp full of oil, the Bridegroom is coming and all here want to be prepared.
Please remember I am not suggesting anything other than obtaining beeswax candles from our Sister Orthodox Churches. Maybe there is a lesson in this. Instead of ascending to understanding the Primacy of the Holy See of Rome in understanding they cling to material objects. Bees, honey bees are even rare now.
I got my beeswax candles & my Rosary. I am prepared but 3 days? I fear that the effects of this Chastisement will last for months. Israel may ignite the fuse on WWIII. But God can make His own. Look after the Supreme Court upheld ObamaCare as constitutional at this wonderful display of lightening. ObamaCare is as spiritually pleasing to God as HitlerCare was to me; but hey I don't know a thing. El communisto presidente of the Obamanation, one country facing serious troubles, ununited, divided, & governed by laws that do not reflect God at all. On Hogan's Heros Shultz would say "I see nothing, I see nothing" and apparently our politicians "see nothing" too.
try www.ezptmdsolutions.comThey must be 51% beeswax, correct? I would prefer to buy from a Catholic source.
sorry if i haven’t followed all the posts here. i know i should be the least to ask information about the 3 days of darkness because i’m one of the lost, but i remember reading on a catholic bible book (which we had when i was at school for my religion lesson) that first it’s the martydom of people who refuse the mark later the 3 days of darkness…which will kill the people who have taken the mark. am i right? correct me if i’m wrong…write backA lot of approved Saints and Mystics have foretold the Three Days of Darkness, such as Padre Pio, Bl. Anna-Maria Taigi, Elizabeth Canori-Mora, Rosa-Colomba Asdente, Palma d’Oria, in Italy; Father Nectou, in Belgium; St. Hildegard, in Germany; Pere Lamy, Marie Baourdi, Marie Martel, Marie-Julie Jahenny, in France etc etc!
It also has biblical sources; Jesus Himself describes similar conditions which will happen just after the Great Tribulation and before the Second Coming of Christ:
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Mat.24:29-31).
No-one knows when, but Padre Pio has given a list of the signs that will herald this event.
I think that is why it is being talked about so much now, because the signs are all being fulfilled in our times.

Ever since I was a small child, my mom warned me about the 3 days of darkness which would happen in my lifetime. She said it is a sign of the ‘rapture’, when there will be a ‘dark’ leader. She said that I must always keep a stock of candles for this 3 days, and that ‘Lucifer’, (who can change his appearance into anything) will be loose in the streets, stealing souls, I guess. She made me promise that I would not open my door for anyone, including her, no matter what during the 3 dark days, and to pray. I’ve begun storing water and food as much as I can. Tomorow I’m off for candles, didn’t know about the 51% beeswax thing though.Ok rewind…what…three days of darkness? When? What? How?!!![]()
This sounds a little too Evangelical Fundamentalist Christian to me. I think the best protection we can have to such an event if it is physical rather than metaphorical is to make sure the light of the soul is shining and in a state of grace. No harm having some blessed candles in stock, no harm weather there is such a thing as the three days or not. No harm regularly saying the Rosary either. If you are led by the holy spirit you will be alright then and will be warned of any impending danger. She said it is a sign of the ‘rapture’, when there will be a ‘dark’ leader.
This prophecy has been mentioned by many of the Saints, even Padre Pio.I tried google & got a lot of different explanations but this one above sums it up.
Doesn’t sound like a thing God would do…
I’m in two minds about it. The thing that makes me feel that it might be true is because it’s been prophesied by so many people, and not just Catholics. It’s been prophesied by the saints, yes, and that’s the most important part. However, it is also mentioned in Islam. It is mentioned in New Age circles as well, where it is referred to as the “Ascension.”
The first time I even heard about the three days of darkness was during my time in the New Age. After my conversion to Catholicism, I was really surprised to hear certain saints talking about it too. Remember, there is a little bit of Truth in everything… I wouldn’t dismiss it off-hand.
Luigi,I’ll say it again: would Our Lord chastise the world? Certainly a possibility. We deserve it these days.
Would He allow a way around it (ie, candles that work)? Maybe.
Would he allow an innocent 7 year old who just had her first Communion, was in a State of Grace and knew nothing about the prophecy to walk outside and be zapped dead?
Does that sound like Him to you?
I'm pretty sure that if a 7 year old was in the state of grace and knew nothing about the prophecy, that God would save her some way (maybe- I comment more about this below).
The rapture is a piece of fiction written by two Christian ministers. The key word is FICTION.Sounds like a Catholic version of the rapture. I’ve noticed that people who believe and talk about the rapture seem to get excited about it. I guess Catholics want to have something exciting too.![]()
