Arrested, tried, convicted, sentenced and imprisoned at warp speed.

Seriously folks,
will you please request these dumb joke posts to be removed before you really have someone thinking I belong in jail …
Street fighting only drew a $100.00 fine back in the days when men were men as long as no one got permanently maimed or killed;

And the incident I mentioned with the 14 year old hitting me with a bat while I held his 220lb dad down by the ear already went to court 24 years ago with the judge calling it a neighborhood dispute;
So I hope you folks aren’t thinking I’ve got some sort of criminal past because my slate is clean.

Not a dumb joke. The person who made the video was arrested, tried, convicted, sentenced, and imprisoned at warp speed. In the meantime, the terrorists who killed 4 Americans are still free, in contrast to Obama’s and Hillary’s comments to the contrary.

which imvho HAS been DELIBERATELY misconstrued by some of the news media …
She’s obviously frustrated imvho with folks dwelling on her idea of insignificant details and more concerned with preventing a repeat performance;

Although, I admit that it is important in order to prevent a repeat to know how/why it happened in the first place;
So yes, although I deny that she doesn’t care, she did make a dumb comment imvho.

INMHO Because she lied and liars should be exposed as such and ought to be ushered off the public stage. Furthermore, IMHO I don’t think she cares except how this will affect her raising money; otherwise why lie to the Woods family at her mawkish photo-op with the caskets?

Don’t you think Barack and Hillary ought to be held responsible for promoting this obscure video and the ensuing riots and bloodshed?

You folks make me :rotfl:
But I started feeling too sanctimonious explaining the reasons why so I dispensed with acting like an ordained priest which I’m not …
Suffice it to say that in my very humble opinion this thread is full of political hatred which makes me feel ashamed I ever started it in the first place.

That film character is easy enough to find by searching who made the Muslim film?
He was born an Egyptian Coptic, but ended up an American in California;
But however, for your information folks, according to “Wiki”, hundreds of people were injured due to the rioting over his film and 50 people died because of the violence over it.

Also according to “Wiki” the man has a past criminal record of bank fraud and drug manufacturing with at least a few short terms in prison due also to parole violations;
And as a matter of fact, his latest one year imprisonment was also due to some sort of probation violation;
However, I had thought I had heard it mentioned in the news that his imprisonment was for his own protection from death threats he was getting.

Another point I keep forgetting to make is that in at least two of the links I posted, the defenders of the Benghazi Consulate were credited with killing ~60 attackers;
So maybe there’s no one very special left in need of incarceration.

PS:
You folks are just acting too naïve about this film and its producer …
Not that I condone their behavior or even condone excusing their behavior as some sort of religious righteousness,
But don’t you folks believe that Muslim extremists may kill over their ideas of offenses to their prophet?

With 1.5 billion Muslims in the world, don’t you folks believe that several millions of them can be extremists?
Don’t you folks believe that it’s a major problem in the world today allowing potential extremists to live in peace with the prospect of them one day becoming non-peaceful ever present?
Does the thought ever enter your minds that our democratic society may one day be dominated by such irrational peoples?

There are extremists now in Nigeria murdering hundreds of young women according to the news;
And I believe Obama has promised to help them;
So although Obama may have questionable roots, he does seem to have a Christian sense of right and wrong towards all peoples is all that I can say;
But I also think you folks are wrong in your political condemnation of folks like Hilary Clinton, Jay Carney and even Susan Rice …

Watching Ms. Rice in that last video I posted, I see pure honesty on her face
And I think the same can be said for Jay Carney.

A couple of points.
  1. No one’s saying the video didn’t, or couldn’t cause violence in general. They are saying it didn’t cause that attack on the consulate. Your comments about “us folks” are so far off the mark, it makes me wonder what other ideas you might assume that we hold. I strongly suggest you put aside whatever preconceptions you have, because it seems that they are driving wedges where there don’t need to be any.
  2. Hillary, Jay Carney, and Susan Rice are three different people who need to be addressed individually. They should not be lumped together because they have different involvements with the handling of Benghazi.
As for Jay Carney particularly, I will point to the fact that mainstream/liberal outlets have been critical of him lately, not just conservative. CNN’s Jake Tapper recently said of him “I think that the comments that are being made are dissembling, obfuscating and often insulting. I don’t disagree with those who don’t care for what’s going on at the press conferences.”

Democratic pollster Doug Schoen said in an interview “I am, however, hard-pressed to believe that what Jay Carney has said — day after day, week after week — is anything but the most obvious political spin… I wouldn’t do it, if I were him — and I’ve known Jay Carney,” Schoen added. “I don’t think the Jay Carney I know would say the kind of things that this Jay Carney has been saying.”

I don’t know what Susan Rice’s deal is. She may have very well believed what she was saying. However it was her job as National Security Advisor to be apprised of such things, so if she wasn’t lying, that’s no excuse for not being aware of what the station chief was reporting before speaking to the public about the attack.

Hatred maybe, maybe not.

And this man’s record does not tell us whether the Benghazi massacre was due to his film or not. Everything points to the conclusion that it did not. Everything also points to the conclusion that the administration knew it and lied about it.

So it doesn’t have to be hatred. Simple distrust would explain why people are upset about this.

And again, why did the U.S. war against Libya in the first place? What was the objective, knowing as the administration did, that it was arming Islamic radicals? What is the overarching foreign policy objective in doing things like this or supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and seemingly Islamist rebels in Syria? Why is this in the nation’s interests?
Is there a foreign policy objective at all? Is the ship of state being steered by an incompetent pilot, or is there perhaps no one with his hands on the tiller at all? Or is there some objective not being shared?

Real concern for this country and Islamic targets worldwide would suffice for major concern and critique. It doesn’t have to be characterized as hatred.

The obsession that Fox News has on this topic is disgusting. The Daily Show did a superb job of highlighting the blatant hypocrisy that many republicans have on this topic. They have no agenda of their own, so their only hope is to attempt to smear their opposition. 😦

I don’t know about sanctimonious posts in this thread, but there have been a lot of condescending comments made in it. Usually these condescending comments start with “You folks.”

Why don’t you address the specific points brought up in this thread rather than blaming Fox News?

Most of us can think for ourselves.

Fox News is known to have a political agenda. I don’t understand why so many people insist that the reporting is credible.

The subject of the thread is not Fox News. I don’t recall seeing any links to Fox News here to substantiate anything.

Yes, you’re right oldcatholicguy,
I discarded a sanctimonious post because I realized it would be making “You Folks” realize that I think I’m better than “You Folks”. 😃

Monday night Fox News’ Megyn Kelly broke a story regarding an internal White House debate on how to “handle” a news story two weeks after the Benghazi slaughter in Libya.
Fox News’ intelligence and counterterrorism maven Catherine Herridge told Kelly’s TV audience, that “a 7 page email circulated at the highest levels of the White house apparently to come up with a media strategy to deal with the Fox News report is being withheld by the State Department citing executive branch deliberations.”
The report, which is the subject line of the emails, “Fox News: US officials knew Libya attack was terrorism within 24 hours, sources confirm” was circulated september 27th and September 28th 2012 concluded the intelligence community knew benghazi was terrorism within 24 hours.
The list of email recipients according to Herridge’s report included Denis McDonough, the president’s deputy national security adviser during the Benghazi terrorist attack, John Brennan former White House counterterrorism adviser and who later was rewarded with the position of CIA Director, then-Deputy Director of the CIA Michael Morell, and presidential aide Ben Rhodes who sent the email to Susan Rice and others in order to sell the “anti-Muslim video angle” during her appearance on the Sunday morning news shows, as reported in the Examiner.
The nonpartisan Washington watchdog Judicial Watch’s top investigator, Chris Farrell, *who is in the midst of a FOIA lawsuit for the email related to the Fox News report, said “A 7-page dialogue concerning one Fox News report to me demonstrates an alarm bell situation where they are reacting to and trying to shape a response or commentary to react to or to shut down reporting.” **

My 4 year old daughter thinks she’s a mermaid, that doesn’t mean she actually is a mermaid though.

It’s not a news show, though some people treat it as such.
