Who here likes video games? Anyone?

Lately, I’ve been playing some Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games like Alien Soldier, Gunstar Heroes and Sonic 3. Also playing Resident Evil 2 for the first time on my PS Vita (and probably going to get RE4, a game I was never really into before, on the Steam sale). I don’t like it nearly as much as the remake of the first game (for GameCube), but it’s still really enjoyable so far.

Aside from Smash Bros., I’m looking forward mainly to the new Spider-Man game in a few months. Everything I’ve seen on it looks great.

Been playing Firefighters 2014,hard game. First couple of times, caused a firetruck to flip over on sharp turns doing 120

Been laying Fifa 17 for about six months now or maybe more. When 18 came out at £55, 17 was reduced to £3.99.

Anyone know how to fix my joycon grip on my nintendo switch? I accidently dropped it on a trip on a cruise ship and one of the joycons isn’t staying in when i slide it in.

I actually don’t play video games often. If I still had PSPlus, I’d be up to play Overwatch though. That was a really fun game 🙂

I’ve been replaying through the latest Shadowrun trilogy (Returns, Dragonfall, and Hong Kong). I just finished my first play through of Returns on Hard. It was actually a lot easier than expected. Even the final level was a near pushover as a mage with Aim III, since it gets rid of the main point of challenge - landing three hits before the enemy resurrects. Still, it’s a fun game if not simple and a little broken compared to the other two. Now it’s time to start Dragonfall again, where I’m sure to love almost every minute of it, minus the screaming at the computer because I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU MISSED THREE 96% SHOTS IN A ROW!!!

You should contact Nintendo. You’ll probably have to send it in or get a new joycon, depending on the nature of the damage.

Been playing Skyrim with mods, like some mods that make it into a survival game and a high res texture mod pack.

I’ve been playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild still. I’m almost done! Just a dozen or so shrines (and like 400 Korok seeds…if I felt life going for all of them) to go! And then, of course, Ganon. I still have to face him. In Zelda games, I always try to do as much as I can before I go to face him.

Of course, now it looks like @balto, @RobynP, and @superluigi haven’t been posting in a while. Alas, I took too long to work my way through the game. 😳 I will have to share my joy with them in spirit. 😝

I still read this thread every once in a while, but haven’t posted in a long time. I was actually considering asking you about Zelda last week or the week before, but that seems to be all I ever ask you about and I figured you probably had long moved on. Apparently I was wrong about this 😄

You seem to like taking your time with things, and by now you must have explored almost every inch of that map. 😁 I am a little surprised you have not found all the Korok seeds in this time. Did you at least finish the Divine Beasts or whatever they were called? I haven’t touched Breath of the Wild since last fall.

Been using the 3DS again recently, although I was thinking about getting a PS4 or a Switch. Currently I am leaning towards the PS4 because I don’t see anything too interesting on the Switch yet and would like to play Kingdom Hearts III. I feel like you would enjoy Kingdom Hearts with your kids, it being based heavily off of Disney and all. I am not as into Smash Bros. as I used to be so that kind of isn’t pulling me in the Switch direction. Probably they would have to announce another Zelda for me to get interested.

Evidently one of the things that came out of E3 was that we also getting Tales of Vesperia in English this winter finally. It’s only been about 8 or 9 years we’ve been waiting for that. I think we were discussing our frustration with there being no English release of that game last year lol.

Yes, I’m still plodding through. 😁 I did finally complete all the divine beasts. Some of those Korok seeds are very well hidden. The only way I found as many as I did is because the DLC includes a Korok mask that makes noise when you get near one that you haven’t found yet. I can’t believe I’ve only found a little over half considering I have been over most of the map.

I’ll probably pick a day to go to Hyrule Castle and take on Ganon when my daughter is up for watching. She’s not always in the mood but she desperately doesn’t want me to do anything important while she’s not there. 😝 Then I can continue exploring and finding the last few things. I’m still eager to go to YouTube once I finish and find the videos of people going straight to Ganon and beating him with a stick. 😁

Yeah, Kingdom Hearts does seem like something that I might like, but I don’t think I want to buy another console just for that. If you’re picking between the two, I can understand that. I’m sure Zelda will come to the Switch again eventually. But with Breath of the Wild just releasing last year, it will probably be 2022 before that happens. I’d like to see them do some HD versions of Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask. I’m hoping they choose to do that to fill the Zelda gap. 😊

I’m still waiting for Animal Crossing…🙁😞😔😖
Same here. Part of me thinks they are sitting on a near complete iteration for Switch as they see how the mobile version goes. They don’t want to compete with themselves. I have a feeling it will be one of those games that they just sort of spring on us with “Oh, by the way, a new Animal Crossing is coming out next month.”

I’m still around! Just mostly lurking nowadays. I’ve been meaning to finally play the story DLC in Breath of the Wild but haven’t had a chance to. Have you done that one yet? I heard if you beat it you get a motorcycle like the one Link drives in Mario Kart which sounds pretty awesome. 😄

Good to see you come out of lurking mode. 🙂

I have been working through the DLC here and there amidst the rest of it. I haven’t got the motorcycle yet, but I believe I’m on that path with some of the side quests. I leveled up the Master Sword once through that trial, but haven’t had the gumption to try for the second and third levels. All in good time. Maybe by this time next year. 🤣 Since there is so much time between Zelda releases, there’s no need to rush. 😜

Medieval 2 Total War with the Stainless Steel mod is the finest game that has and will ever be produced. 😎

Ive been playing my GameCube lately. Such a great console. Trying to pick up where you left off in wind waker 10 years ago is pretty frustrating though, don’t have the time to start from scratch lol.

Just talk to your boat and see where he tells you to go next. 😁

I love Windwaker. I played it on Gamecube back in the day, but the HD version was included with my Wii U, so I played through the updated version a couple of times with my daughter, too. I feel like it went a lot faster than I remembered it going, but then I think they shortened the “fetch quest” where you are looking for tri-force shards. Plus the HD version has the “speedy sail” which made that aspect of the game much quicker.

I know how you feel, though. I took a several year gap between starting Twilight Princess and finishing it. It takes a while to get up to speed!

I never finished twilight princess or skyward sword unfortunately, I told myself I would but my wii broke, maybe it’s for the best lol.
