I just re-read the Wikipedia article (hehehe). Yeah the creators of the game were also behind the God of War series.Try God of War-graphic.

I’ve heard good things about Portal and Portal 2. Probably a lot of puzzle solving.Like how graphic? Bioshock graphic, Mortal Kombat graphic or in-between?
Something else: does anyone know any good games based on philosophy or has philosophical themes? Been interested in such games since I learned of Bioshock, Bioshock: Infinite, and Antichamber in this thread. Just bought the The Stanley Parable from Steam and even though I haven’t played it yet I’ve heard it’s mind-blowing and full of philosophical themes, and also the theme of the role of choice in games.
Yeah, me too. I always would want to be the first to found Christianity in my Civ4 gamesIf anyone wants to spend a month on the couch play skyrim
I’m a big fan of RTS games. I like Civ 5 I always found Christianity in my empire then take over the world.
I played them a lot more when I had a PC but since I have a Mac I really only have Civ 5. (I have an xbox but don’t like paying them on consoles)Yeah, me too. I always would want to be the first to found Christianity in my Civ4 games
What other RTS games do you like? besides the turn-based ones.
I also don’t like to play console games that much - but that might change when I get Bioshock: Infinite for my birthday.I played them a lot more when I had a PC but since I have a Mac I really only have Civ 5. (I have an xbox but don’t like paying them on consoles)
Anyway I use to play Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth games a lot and Age of Empires. I also had Halo Wars on Xbox
I only really Blau Battlefeild 4 on Xbox but I’m looking forward to getting Destiny!I also don’t like to play console games that much - but that might change when I get Bioshock: Infinite for my birthday.![]()
Me too. I tend to avoid MMO’s, as they’re usually frustrating for me, but I’m thinking of making an exception for this one. It looks like it’s going to be pretty cool.I only really Blau Battlefeild 4 on Xbox but I’m looking forward to getting Destiny!
Yeah this is my first MMO but I do like roll playing games and Bungie did a great job with halo so I got the Beta for Destiny and it had me sold! A lot of funMe too. If I may be utterly pedantic, the Civilization series is turn-based. RTS – real-time-strategy – describes games like Red Alert 2 and Age of Empires in which all players are making moves constantly, where the emphasis is on reflexes and quick-thinking instead of the more strategic mulling-over-things you find in turn-based games. If anyone wants to spend a month on the couch play skyrim

That makes sense. I always just kinda lumped this games together I guess just cause they are similarIf I may be utterly pedantic, the Civilization series is turn-based. It doesn’t help that there are some games like the* Medieval: Total War* and *Rise of Nation *series that intermix RTS and turn-based elements. I used to confuse them – my first time playing Civilization III, in fact, I decided to build an entire army of spearmen as a cheap substitute to swordsmen. Spearmen are most definitely not cheap offense units in Civ3!That makes sense. I always just kinda lumped this games together I guess just cause they are similar
Oh man, well if Link’s going to be in it then I have to have it hahaThey also unveiled some upcoming DLC to be released in November and next May, which will include six new racers (including Link!) and sixteen new courses. All for $12! That’s half a game worth of new tracks!
I’ve always recoiled at the concept of DLC, but this I don’t mind.![]()
Speaking completely from my own experience… YES! DEFINITELY!Is that even possible now days with all the players on their separate computers and in their own living rooms?
The track pack coming out in November has Link, Cat Princess Peach and Tanooki Mario. The one that will be released next May has a few characters from Animal Crossing and Dry Bowser.Oh man, well if Link’s going to be in it then I have to have it haha. Do they have other non-Mario Nintendo characters in it? I have the same attitude as you towards DLC, but there’s always this one thing that sounds really cool that you just have to have, so I guess it’s a good business practice, at least from the company’s POV.
You seem to like Mario Kart 8 a lot. Is it better than the previous MK installments? I kind of want to get a Wii U, but it would probably have to wait until December so I could play with my sister while I’m on Christmas break. Maybe my brother would be willing to play the new Smash Bros. like we used to when we were kids haha.
Welcome to CAF!video game are sin i was taught if you play them you will go to hell
