Why do people on CAF seem to think liberals are evil?

Is obstinate, persistent denial of Church teachings on abortion and marriage evil?

This maybe a matter of perception then. I don’t see to think Catholics are anticonservative. I’ve encountered far more conservative Catholics and Christians than otherwise. Most of the liberals I know in person aren’t religious

Man made climate change and gun co tell aren’t moral issues, they are political. It’s the left that try to take those 2 and twist them into moral issues, as if anyone who doesn’t support them are bad people. Conservatives do not conflate c!image change and gun control.

The bottom line is, the evil of the Democratic party ardently supporting the culture of death far outweighs any conceived social justice issue. And anyway it’s a leftist myth that conservatives don’t care about people and hate social justice.

If I weren’t religious and I wanted an abortion, I’d wonder why I couldn’t do it because of someone’s religious beliefs should dictate my personal choice. I feel similarly about gay marriage. Should the church marry gays? No! It seems weird gay people can’t get married because of someone else’s religious beliefs

Would you wonder also why you couldn’t kill your t toddler?? Killing is killing, what is so hard about understanding that?

There is a difference between an embryo and a fully developed toddler.

Not if you understand the Truth of humanity. Are you Catholic or even Christjan? That is a basic Truth. Throughout history most civilizations have u understood that. Even now most countries on earth do not think abortion is ok.

And Catholics are required to accept Church teachings on the sanctity of life, from conception to natural death.

Baptized and confirmed Catholic. I never said abortion was correct. Don’t come.pare an embryo to a toddler. Those two different stages of development. I don’t know why people make abortion so dramatic

I think abortion is wrong for Catholic. I don’t see why the government should stop atheists from having an abortion or from marrying the same sex. They’re not religious why should they feel subject to religious laws or morality?

No. Abortion is wrong for everyone, not just Catholics. You are making the fundamental error of moral relativism.

I don’t follow a political party. I follow Jesus. You would have to ask the liberal political ideology why they don’t follow Jesus.

Multiculturalism- immigrants living together, not learning any English, and staying as an insular group

Melting pot- Immigrants moving into the wider community, learning English while still keeping their native tongue alive as they see fit, and sticking together to an extent while still becoming fully American

Why is abortion so important to Catholics? No other issue generates so much sympathy. I wish I saw this amount of concern for the living or social injustices

Abortion and God’s design for marriage and family are not “Catholic only” issues. They are natural and Divine law issues. In other words, not “issues” to be debated at all, but settled and non-negotiable law!

I’ve seriously never head multiculturalism being against assimilation. I’m not sure how you came up with this honestly. Who thinks immigrants shouldn’t learn English? I think the us should have two official languages considering a lot of the rest of the world does and our growing Hispanic population
