Will America become socialist now that Biden has basically won?

The woman conceded hours after the election was called. She didn’t like losing but she accepted it graciously. And was thanked by Trump for doing so.
Such a fine woman. 😇

I think she wrote 2 or 3 books explaining why she lost the election, the title of one of her books. That one did exceptionally well on Amazon earning 1.5 stars.

At last count her explanations for why she lost are up in the triple digits.

Here are the 16 most notable…

A fine woman!

Trump should reprise his Apprentice show and groom several thousand Apprentice Presidents providing, in the process, an in depth view of the goings on in the various departments and bureaucracies of government - a kind of reality civics lesson each week.

And the hissy fit as she stomped way from the podium? A phone call? Still waiting for her public concession speech…

I have learned the hard way that one mark of a leftist/progressive “true believer” is that they demand “acceptance” from others.

Acceptance of injustice. Of fraud. Of moral evil - you name it.

The claim was that she didn’t concede. She did within hours. And graciously. And was thanked by her opponent for doing so. If you want to start a new thread on Clinton and why she lost then do so.

It has even been claimed that she didn’t make a public concession. Which is obviously and catastrophically wrong. Check the post above.

Why post this type of stuff? Or more to the point, what purpose does anyone think it serves? A deflection from reality?

And the hissy fit
As opposed to the toddler-level tantrum that is still going on from the current incumbent that got the “you’re fired” message but refuses to act like a grownup and accept it? Heck, I would be mad if I got votes from more people but still lost under the actual rules in place, but she accepted that that’s how the system works. The system that DJT wants to throw out because he lost under it.

Not really, it’s because he has the foresight to see what’s coming down the pipe…
C’mon, Harry. You’re a smart guy. You can put two and two together. He was sowing the seeds of doubt because he knew it was going to be close. He teed everyone up for a sucker punch and some have fallen for it. But good grief, it’s a swing and a miss. We didn’t even have to duck.

Time to throw in the towel and let Guiliani get back to his cigar sales.

The question as to whether he’ll turn up to the inauguration is still open. I think not. So we have another to go with that: Will he start throwing pardons around - including one for himself? Word on the street is that a sitting president can’t proactively pardon himself. So could he put Pence behind the Resolute desk and get him to do it? Killing two birds with one stone.

My s-i-l works for an international betting company. I’ll see if they’re offering odds. I’m 50:50 at the moment.

My understanding is that both political parties practice combinations of neo-liberalism and neo-conservatism, which means they promote the interests of the rich.

The point is moot anyway. The more critical one is what Hillary says about this election.

“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances.”

Good for the goose…

Which book was that?

I really hate to tell you this, but that’s a scam. It just contains a few pages of pictures of Clinton. And the other book was written by Joe Lauria…

Hillary Clinton wrote a 40 page book with a plain red cover, and self-published it through a print-on-demand amazon service, and it only got 10 reviews in 3 years?
Clearly, I blew that one. Mea Culpa. I should have not been so quick to copy the URL and not check the info. I did recall her writing a book complaining about her loss. It was this one, called What Happened?

https://www.amazon.com/What-Happene...qid=1606274114&sprefix=Hillary+Clinton&sr=8-2

And it, too, was a scam. 😏

I wouldn’t worry about it. We’re all guilty of the same thing now and then. But we can agree on one thing: There’ll never be a book with that title written by Trump…

amazon.com

What Happened

4.6 out of 5 stars, $12.95

And it, too, was a scam.
As Freddy said, it happens. That said I’m curious about one thing, is the “hillary wrote a 1.5 star book” something you said because you found the red book and saw it was 1.5 stars, or are there people out there spreading this rumor and this is just the first you dived into it?
