This is all because they are ‘silencing’ people. I think it’s overblown.

It is about a bunch of frustrated people angry because the owner of the house asked them not to say certain things.

All because it’s too much trouble setting up an alternative to Facebook and Twitter?

Uh huh. Can I ask why you didn’t just accept ‘we disagree’?

In other words capitalism when it suits the desires of some.
That would be called crony capitalism. Apparently there are different kinds. You know just like “there are different kinds of socialism.” You can’t just lump all capitalism into one boat and paint them all with the same broad brush.

Socialism, on the other hand, while there are different kinds, they are all bad. 😉

Seriously though…

…centralized power in a fallen world is just not a good idea, even when the politburo claims it is for the good of everyone. The road to hell and all that

What more is there to read?
Well.
Let’s look at your statement again…
The senate may very well go to a dem majority
And look at mine.
With house and senate as they are
You see. I am addressing the current situation.
You wrote in a change, and then question me about my conclusion.

This is what one would classify as a straw man.

You are calling my answer incorrect based not on what was written, but rather on what you wrote instead.

Socialism is when the government owns the means of production.

This shouldn’t apply to either France or the Scandinavian countries.

When people in the US say socialism, they mean the government provides social services for the populace.

This is frowned upon here in the US since the average citizen is supposed to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, rugged individualism and all.

Unless you are a corporation, then it’s expected that the government takes care of you with bailouts.

Welfare for the rich and rugged individualism for the not so rich.
