Will not vote for Trump, but no pro-life Democrats?

The only people in this country who are making more money are the one who least have to worry about money. The idle rich.

There was plenty of stuff going on between Trump’s people and Russian operatives.
They weren’t “Russian operatives”, they were FBI informants (Stephen Halper) who tried to infiltrate the Trump Campaign so that they (the FBI informants) could then try to collude with Russian to ensnare the Trump Campaign with Russia. It almost worked.

Not to mention that the democratic platform itself supports one of the greatest evils throughout history which is abortion.

That is not what the Mueller report said. You may want to actually read it.

If he says what he does…especially with the pro life message, wouldn’t that be far better than the current lot of ‘pro-life’ republican politicians who do not do what they say.

Sure he’s not perfect, but his administration has done a lot for the pro life movement
Until we amend the Constitution, we will be going back and forth if the SC keeps the issue open.

A tired lie that keeps getting repeated.
The President has also distinguished himself for speaking without even minimal respect for the truth.
I don’t need “the media” to tell me this. This is 2019. I can look up facts on my own.
I don’t know how his unusually brazen and habitual disregard for the truth can be overlooked or not be seen as disqualifying, no matter how many good things are promised in exchanged for an alliance with this evil. I don’t think it does Christianity or any positive cause good in the long run to be associated with it. It might lead to temporary wins, but those are not worth black marks against integrity.

Oh you were talking about the Russian lawyer who went to Trump Tower? the one who met with Hillary-hired Fusion GPS on the day before and the day after the Trump Tower meeting?

But Trump did straighten out as much as possible:
  1. Stopping the near genocide of Christians in Syria/Iraq due to mismanagement of that war by Bush and Obama, especially starting in about 2011 with the Arab spring.
  2. Stopping North Korea from firing off missiles that could or could not have nuclear material in them, randomly at the world, over the sea of Japan, towards Guam, maybe even towards Hawaii. It’s not a perfect situation but it is a lot better.
If one straightens out messes that were left by predecessors, that’s off limits or something?

Presidents primarily influence abortion law by naming judges to the Supreme Court. They also have a small amount of (name removed by moderator)ut on funding for PP and similar. But it’s mostly about the Supreme Court.
And they don’t seem at all inclined to address it.

Why were neither of his Supreme Court appointees a woman?
Because the 2 men were better qualified than any potential female nominees?
I don’t know. Amy Coney-Barrett is pretty well-qualified and actually has a more solid Pro-life philosophy than either of our new justices. And, she’s Catholic.

The Supreme Court can’t just run and address an issue. A case has to come up before them. For any controversial issue, the case may be percolating through the lower courts, or there may be a host of interest groups trying to push one case or another case up, or keep one or more cases from coming up. A case will eventually pop up but not on demand. The justices, however, tend to sit for a lot of years once they get on the Court, so there’s time.

Amy Barret Comey probably would have been nominated but she would have had a tougher time than Kavanaugh.

Part of the game, is getting someone who can be nominated, not just nominating someone.

I often wonder how many abortions he’s paid for over the past 40 years.
I often wonder if statements like this could be bearing false witness against others, could be gossip or other things.

You have nothing but hearsay. It probably would have come out by now, if there was something to such ideas.

I am 17 years your senior. I too do not have a college degree. I have a certification though and that’s my EMT cert. I am in the right industry as it’s healthcare.

Not sure what you do for a living.

Trump said he wants to save Comey Barrett for when Ginsburg retires.

Dems can’t give Comey Barrett the Kavanaugh treatment since she’s a woman so they’ll have to come up with a new line of attack. Probably attack her for daring to think differently than a Dem, aka only men are permitted to freely be Dem or Rep = so sexist.

Not true at all. Your anecdotal evidence of the state of the economy doesn’t mean the economy isn’t growing faster than it has in years. Unemployment is near record lows. Wages have been rising. Taxes were cut. Since we’re going anecdotal, my income went up significantly in 2018 and my overall tax bill declined by 12%. And trust me, I’m far from the idle rich!

While Trump does tend to say foolish things, exaggerate unnecessarily, and has personal flaws, I’d say he’s done remarkably well with the economy. And he never praised neo-nazis, that’s a media lie. He said neo-nazis and white nationalists “should be totally condemned” at the same press conference where everyone got up in arms about “good people on both sides”.

Yeah, that’s true. The case has to get to them, first. It doesn’t seem to have happened in any case.
