excuse me?Excellent. We both agree there is nothing wrong with the symbol itself.
where did I ever say that.
I disagree . totally. And make no apologies for doing so.
good try , but no cigar, ratio

you guys are awesomePlease dont judge us all by the way Donald Trump behaves. Many of us find his behavior and rhetoric to be disturbing at best.
i am not here to convince you or anyone. You are big enough to make your own way in the world and form your own opinions. You really are over thinking things.
My opinion is that those who opine “yin yang” is of the devil and anti-Catholic because it is Buddhist Religion or occult tout foolish views with no appreciation of the culture from which it came, have no Magisterial sources to backup their strong views and seem to rely on Google instead of scholarship.
I see the world and ancient wisdom from a glass half full perspective. It is innocent until proven otherwise. Over to you.
well you can concede, or you can indeed enlighten the less theology educated onNothing more to say.
hearsay and the human condition go hand in hand. The human condition is to apply its native culture to everything. Hard to break away from this.My atypical Euro experience of Asian culture at both popular and academic levels has given me no reason to reverse that approach to the symbol/philosophy of concern here
Yes we are now back to your original tyre kicking assumptions that you clearly feel will make your point.or its relgions.
You are clearly a more fearful glass half empty person because of that inexperience.
Nothing more to say.
You said using bible for divination is wrong. I’m assuming that you believe bible itself is ok.excuse me?
where did I ever say that.
When you said it “worked”. Perhaps you need to clarify what you mean by that.BTW what is “going too far?”
we are in agreement with this statementhave a problem with believing that it has special powers to bring luck.
No I disagree. The framework is compatible with Catholicism.but more then that. the framework the i ching and the yin yang symbol exist in,
incompatible with Catholicism.
i see you asked a question about counselling someone starting a new job.
do you mean what advice would i give, any specific scenario?
but its not. it began as two things , an oracle, it employed divination. As well as a book of its writer’s wisdoms.don’t see how this situation is different to I Ching when it is a book simply to teach people how to behave in life.
I don’t understand this. Where in I Ching does it say that?began as two things , an oracle, it employed divination.
We’ve just agreed on that some people can use the Bible for divination purposes. How is the Bible different to tarot cards? So in its capacity and function as a divination oracle, how is this any different to tarot cards or horoscopes or fortune telling?
