St. Basil Catholic Church, in the mid-Wilshire district of Los Angeles. Designed by architect Albert C. Martin in 1969, the structure features 12 adjacent 80 ft. tall concrete towers, separated by full height panels of stained glass, and can seat over a thousand congregants.

Holy Cross church, Batavia,Illinois. I had to be up in the Chicago area a while back, and I went here for All Saints Mass. I don’t know if you can tell it, but the crucifix in the front is very graphic, and since I am someone that is very much a visual thinker, it really helped me think about what Our Lord did for us.

St Mary of the Immaculate conception church in Edgefield, SC. My older sister was Baptized here, and I quite like it. It looks much the same as it did when it was founded (before the American civil war). It is one of only two Catholic churches in my county (I am a member of a parish in an adjacent county). I was actually a member here for a long time, and it holds a special place in my heart.
