She’s a great patron for single moms, especially those of us with “a past.”

This 268th post will tell,
Of the monk of Melrose, Saint Boisil,
Under good St. Aidan of Ireland he trained,
Then fame as a scholar and preacher he gained,
And he was made abbot of the monastery,
Until death from the plague set him free,
To gain his Heavenly reward,
Life eternal with Our Lord.

Saint Boisil’s bio shows that he had a number of friends who were also Saints. He had people around him who shared his values, whom he helped to lift up and who in turn lifted him up. May we be as fortunate to have people around us who are helping us to achieve Heaven, and may we help those around us to do the same.

Have a blessed day!

This 269th post will tell,
Of Blessed Robert of Arbissel,
In Brittany, this gifted preacher,
Spread reform, and was a teacher,
Then a hermit he became,
Folks came to him all the same,
And so, for the glory of God,
He founded the Abbey of Fontevraud,
Where monks and nuns could go and pray,
Remember Blessed Robert today,

Blessed Robert sought to help bring others to repentance and conversion, putting them on the path to eternal salvation. What a wonderful legacy. May we all do the things which will result in us being remembered as well.

Have a blessed day!

My mom suffered a stroke Monday, and has been in the hospital until yesterday. I have to put the daily saints’ poems on hold for the time being.

Prayers for her recovery and for my family keeping it together are greatly appreciated!

Prayers, my friend, for your mom. I was hoping that you were not posting because you were doing something fun. She will be in my daily prayers.

God bless.

Praying for your mom and for your family.
May God guide you all, through this, to Him.
Amen.

Prayers for you mom and your family–and YOU! Asking for strength, faith, peace, hope and love enough to go all around!

Lent is here. I thought of so much to enrich my lent. Not doing anything I said but doing other things, like daily mass. Missed one day overslept. 😦

🤣 😂 😅

It’s been such a long time since I’ve been banned. Thanks for that. 😄

Continuing the prayers for your mom and yourself. May God strengthen you both as you continue your Lenten journey with Him.
amen.

Feeling better today. Looks like we’re going to be getting an extended spring break.

I’m planning on being a bit of a monastic – what an interesting Lent this is turning out to be.

**We were taking mental inventory and wondering how many days we could hole up…

Oh Saint in charge of worldly stress,
(St. Anthony would be my guess)
Show us by your example best
How to deal with this Corona-virus test. Amen
