Seriously you dont see this thread and all the others started by JimmyB as antiProtestant?
OH undoubtedly there are indeed anti Protestant threads here mate. It isn’t right, but it isn’t surprising. Not to derail the thread but you gave me the impression that you don’t see yourself as a Protestant. I suppose in the same situation I might react in a similar manner to you, sorry about the comments before.

Now for my opinion on the question. First, we do not know who will go to Hell. Secondly those non Catholics might be ignorant of the Catholic Church and might be genuinely trying to work for the salvation of somebodies soul. I do not think that the Lord would punish people for their sincere (albeit ill informed) compassion. Now those who work to get people out of the Church, just for the sake of spiting the Catholic Church, and not out of genuine concern for the person’s salvation. I think they’re in the wrong and need to repent of this sin.

Pardon? I am not sure what you mean by addressing it. Are you asking me to do something about it or are you asking me to tell you what I think of it?

What is you opinion of it?
Or are you going to pretend it doesnt exist because it makes you uncomfortable?

Didn’t I just say it exists and it isn’t right? My opinion is that Christians of all denominations should be seeking unity, however my opinion of unity (and maybe what a Christian is) will differ from yours.

I think that excessive attacks on Protestants, and blanket statements about all Protestants as if they are a unified Church is pointless, and more than a little offensive. As this is a Catholic forum I see nothing wrong with debating Protestant doctrine. However when people blur the line between the doctrine and the people then it does constitute bigotry in some cases.

Catholics put this bigotted antiProtestant thread to rest. I ask that true men and women of faith not respond to the baiting of this bigotted antiProtestant poster and I would like to see some Catholics decry his bigotry.

Hello Hisalone,

Are non-Catholics and Protestants who pulled Catholics away from their Catholic Faith, in danger of going to Hell?

Is post #217 your final answer? You wrote -

"They most assuredly will get a crown in heaven for leading a lost soul out of bondage with the true gospel of Jesus Christ."

Could you please explain this comment? (above)

"The Bible is a Catholic Book and everything in it support’s Catholicism".

God has no mention of purgatory.
Its just another Catholic fantasy originally instituted to bring fear to members so they could easily be controled by clerics.
The Bible makes no mention of the Trinity or Sunday worship, do you deny those too?

JimmyB continually bashes Protestants yet he is a goodoleboy so you guys love him here. Stop the bigotry!
Is it bigotry to try to protect those weak in the faith from being seduced and deceived away from the Church by Catholic bashing bigots? You need to remember that I spent 31 years in a Protestant denomination whose entire doctrine was based on anti-catholicism. Using false history and distorted interpretation of the Bible they joyously led Catholics weak in their faith or poorly catechised into a sect which follows the writings of a prophetess.

Was it bigotry, when Jesus told Peter to be a shepherd to His people? Any good shepherd knows the purpose of the rod and the staff is to ward off predators. I am tired of Protestant predators preying upon God’s little ones. If that is bigotry, than I am going to go get a tee-shirt with BIGOT and Proud of It across the front.

Welcome home brother! 🙂
Thank you. This time back there has been an increase ten fold in temptations from my old Protestant ways to go back. Pray that I may be strengthened by God’s grace to not return to my old ways.

But there is no purgatory.
Most assuredly there is weather instantaneously or not.
Code:
If anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, the work of each will come to light, for the Day will disclose it. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire (itself) will test the quality of each one's work. If the work stands that someone built upon the foundation, that person will receive a wage. But if someone's work is burned up, that one will suffer loss; the person will be saved, but only as through fire.

No they won’t. I am so sorry to God for leading people away from his truth I was blinded as you. I pray you have your eyes open to God’s truth

Why are you a bigot?

To the moderator of this forum.
I cannot find wo you are. I dont see you listed anywhere.
Why is JimmyB allowed to continually be offensive and inflamatory to protestants without any recourse?
When will something be said to him?

When I first read the OP, I thought the question was meant to be somewhat tongue-in-cheek. (I may have been mistaken.)

I don’t know JimmyB well enough to comment on your claim that he “bashes Protestants”.

But generally speaking, if Catholic Poster A makes an offensive statement about non-Catholics, and Catholic Poster B lets it go by without comment, that might mean that Catholic Poster B agrees with the statement; or it could be that Catholic Poster B disagrees but doesn’t have time, or is afraid of getting into to a fight and saying that something out of anger and getting suspended from the forum, or … well, need I go on?

Well don’t look at me – I’m still trying to wrap my mind around JimmyB’s use of the phrase the official non-Catholic response. (Of course, maybe I’m not the sharpest penny in the tray.)
