Are there any Catholic theologions that fully understand the last book of the bible ?

Father Loring a jesuit priest that give speches in seminarys n in EWTN in spanish said that the stance of the church is twofold that evolution dosent contradicts our belives.

genesis is a spiritual true, we are spiritual beings.
we can take it literaly or not. tahts what the priest said that is teh stance of teh chruch.

Personately I dotn belive uttely in evolution. my whole message was that evolution dosent contradicts the true.

You are probably reading that commentary from the New American Bible. If it is, then that explains it.
 
Actually Im reading the Christian Comunity Bible the spanish Edition it has good explanation by a lot priests and theologists of latin america.
I see the explanation of the theologysts in latin america and in spanish speaking countrys, differ a little from the expanantions of the haydock and other american bible comentarys.

Mainly they differ on the interpretation of Revelations
 
I’ll say this–you can believe what the catechism says about the end times. There will be an Anti-Christ.

That’s completely vouched for by the Catholic Church.

The gospel must first be preached in all nations. John Paul II said that would happen in the third millenium so we know that the first element of the end times WILL happen before the year 3,000.

Since Jesus hasn’t come yet that has not yet happened.

Things such as these are facts.

Not everything about the end times is hidden though most of it is.
 
Well half of catholic tehologist over here will tell you that the pagan Rome was the Whore on the 7 hills the word protitution was also used in a way to mean idolatry on teh OT.
the antichrist was the Emperator the one taht wanted to be workshipped as God

Mathew 24 ,15 Jesus said that when u will see the foreing Idol inside the church run to the hills.

The Cesar wanted to be workship as God and he commanden that everyone taht dotn workship him be assain, so thousends were martyrs dispite that many converted because of the martyrs.

The antichrist wanted to be workshiped as God the Cesar wanted that too.
 
The triple 6 is not a big deal , its not very imporntant.

John was writting about Revelations under the persecution of Neros. It was a struggle betewen the Roman Empire and the Church

By the way, that book was recommended to me by the guy that answers apologetic questions in EWTN. That book may answer many question and dispite it was made by a protestan, the book is under the chatolic doctrine.
 
Many followers of Jesus left Him in John 6:66 because they didn’t believe His teaching on the eucharist.

I don’t think that the fact that they left on that particular chapter in that particular verse is just coinicidence!

sure the triple six was written to be something negative. but it my way of seeign it, it also means the name of the emperor the one that was the image of the antichrist.

I got every thing that I got I got out of Revelations only,.No other versions ,or other books in the bible.The book of Revelations tells you explicitly not to be influenced by any other people, and opinions others have of Revelations.And that includes the bible.
That might turn a lot of you mad, but you have to follow the rules ,or you could be damed.walt2000 now that is my opinion, so don’t get mad at the rules Christ made ,and given to John.Walt2000 That is the devils trick to change the meanings of the book.🤷
