Harris is an anti-Catholic bigot and questioning judges about their Catholic faith has been more overt at times and there has been some push back … so the fact that a judge was a member of the KOCs gave Harris an opening to question him on the same beliefs that are primary for faithful active practicing Catholics covertly … she even couched the KOCs as being mostly Catholic men . when being Catholic is necessary - there are no non Catholic men in the KOC … The tact by Harris was just to avoid having the Church leadership come down on them and I guess - so people like you would be persuaded that the question was not tied to his faith but this one troubling men’s only club …

The Democratic party is decidedly anti-Catholic - unless of course - one is a dissident Catholic who espouses the right to abort babies and decries the concept of traditional marriage - Thus as long as you are a Catholic who ignores Church teaching - you are Golden - the Dems can trot you out to dance and prance and pronounce yourself a “devout Catholic” ala Nancy Pelosi et al … to get that Catholic vote …

I like this idea. All loans forgiven and $2000 monthly. Sounds great. i can spend more time reading. There is a nice grassy area near the beach and a few trees which give great shade. It will be fabulous to be able to just lie there under the shade of the tree, and catch up on my reading while the listening to the sounds and having beautiful ocean waves nearby. And if my girlfriend has $2000 coming in every month, that will be $48 K per year between us. i have changed my mind about Kamahhla Harris. Perhaps after speaking with AOC, they can raise this stipend to $2500 per month and with free medical care, free university education, free food stamps, free no eviction housing, this can be paradise on earth. Even Trump is getting in on this by mandating no evictions. i like the part especially where the landlords have to cover all the costs of the water, gas, electricity, taxes, sewerage, and we tenants don’t have to pay a dime and the courts will not evict us. At least in California, where Kamahhla is from. The Courts have been refusing to take any eviction cases. So , see, there is someone on our side.

It seems that Sally Hemings’ relationship with Jefferson was loving (or at least tender), and she staid in the relationship when she had an opportunity to escape it (when they lived together in France). I would not judge him (or her) by today’s standards. But I would also not pretend that the facts are other than they are. Jefferson started having sex with her when she was probably 14 (or maybe 15) and was legally his property. Its hard to call that consensual.
