More uncharitable comments than you can shake a stick at, at the link.
Well, if one person doesn’t like you or even a few people, that’s the way it goes. If nobody like you, take a good look in the mirror.
My fav:
Lindsey Graham Republican senator from South Carolina
“If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you.”

Obviously Cruz is the real anti establishment candidate.
Oh, and just so everyone knows the govt will be shutting down this weekend, like it does every weekend. Brace yourselves!

Boehner on the other hand was a spineless leader who accomplished absolutely nothing.

Cruz was therefore acting correctly to server as the devil’s advocate against such pathetic leadership.

God serves us demons for a reason, and Cruz was the appropriate kind of demon to reveal the nature of Boehner’s shortcomings.

Here’s another interesting comment about Ted Cruz from GOP strategist Ana Navarro:

“Ted Cruz is the political version of liver and onions. Some people love it and can’t get enough. And some people gag at the mere thought of it.”

One is a Socialist (that is pre-school for Communism if you don’t know how that works)

One is a dangerous criminal and a forked tongue expert

One is being caught in forked tongue practices

One is in a fog of campaign (something like the fog of war)

AND then we have a very wealthy blue collar business man, smart, been around the block many times, patriotic, plain talker (even a little rude at times ) respects our military, police, determined to make national security and America first, is Pro Life and a
Christian and will defend our rights to clutch your Bible and your gun! I’m for this guy!!

You have been a Trump supporter, and he is not pro-life. He supports abortion “with exceptions.”

I have decided on Trump after my own selection process of the candidates and I am in support of him for President.

You are not correct in saying he is not for Life - he is Pro Life!

Your true colors have shown you support the Democrat Party and all it proclaims to be in providing for and supporting of abortion, and Planned Parenthood (that is the largest referral and provider of abortions and the seller of the infant body parts). This is so disgusting and unacceptable to Catholics and Christians - there should be an oath to take that one will not aid and abet these evils to hold any position of influence.

Any Catholic University must NOT allow this evil to cunningly be promoted. Catholics that financially support these universities must be vigilant in preventing any person using a teaching position or any position to support abortion on demand et alia.

Grotto, Mr. Trump is a Warton graduate, building large high end real estate and lives on Park Avenue. I don’t understand the “Blue Collar” connection?

However, he has touch a cord with white blue collar workers that have been the largest victims of Republican policies. They have suffered the most from jobs shipping overseas and to hear someone acknowledge it and not try to sell them on; “how good things can be if you vote for me”? For me, it sounds like people are desperate and they are willing to overlook the rough exterior.

Leo - he has the identifier of being a “blue collar billionaire” because of building buildings! The construction workers and all the skilled blue collar workers (those non professional) that hold day jobs appreciate their employment provided by Trump. There is nothing wrong with be called a “blue collar billionaire” - its a plain spoken compliment.

Lots of business makes for lots of employees!

Wow! He has made a lot of enemies. Even Bob Dole doesn’t like him.
I have never warmed up to him.
I think Cruz sticks to his guns, maybe lacks tact, diplomacy; there is evidence even in the campaign of backstabbing - he went hard at Rubio after Super Tuesday leading up to Florida even though the NeverTrump idea was to coalesce, especially those two; Romney was pushing it. This capacity for making enemies left and right should cause concern, but I don’t know how much, given the high negatives of Trump and Clinton as well.

My biggest fear with Cruz is losing the general election. And I am more and more nervous when I see how much so many moderates dislike/fear him. I don’t think Carly can help warm him up either. Rubio or Kasich would have been much better at that.

I never meant Blue Collar as anything demeaning. American blue collar workers have built this country. Hopefully, they will eventually get the respect they deserve.

Our problem is that we have sold their well-being for high corporate profit margins. Take a look at what this focus on high profit margins are doing? Companies are having a larger portion of their workforce overseas. They contribute greatly to a deteriorating domestic economy while recording record profits. The worst part is that this has propagated the greatest job instability in recent history.

The only thing I find wrong with blue collar workers is that they are disappearing or making substandard wages.

Are you still peddling this unsubstantiated, factless, evidence-lacking smear? This is plain and simply libelous. It is uncharitably smearing the character of a man with ZERO evidence, which I thought was against forums rules. It most certainly is sinful behavior and something a Christian shouldn’t do.
Apparently you’ve refused to look up the information as I suggested.

Keep your blinders on

Jim

My fav:
I’ve long believed that if you want to know the real deal about a person tasked to get things done, listen to what his workmates have to say about him.

And yes, lupine.

I do not feel like Cruz can win the general election.

Trump polls against HRC more poorly than Cruz. Cruz is more neck and neck in his polls against her.
That’s because people don’t know Cruz well enough yet. Give them time. They’ll hate him as much as Congressional Republicans.

They do know Trump well enough. It is not as if getting to know him any better will benefit his poll numbers against HRC.

The choice that Republicans have is either Cruz or Trump. Americans may well reject both, but thinking that Cruz cannot win is no reason to support Trump instead.

His polls even more poorly, and people know who he is.
