Gutfeld on the Democrats’ desire to name and shame Trump supporters
The side of peace wants to tear you to pieces
By Greg Gutfeld | Fox News
As the media and Democrats preach healing, their loudest voices are planning something else. They call it accountability, but it’s actually retribution.
Two weeks ago I described how former Clinton administration labor secretary Robert Reich got the ball rolling, suggesting that the left name and shame anyone connected to Trump. The bearded Bozo exposed the sinister underbelly of the so-called tolerant left, salivating at the chance for revenge.
Then there’s Hari Sevugan, a former spokesman for President Barack Obama, who touted the Trump accountability project, which vows to keep anyone Trump employed from getting work. Their motto: “Remember what they did.”
AOC, OTHERS PUSHING FOR APPARENT BLACKLIST OF PEOPLE WHO WORKED WITH TRUMP
Others have joined the vengeful mob. MSNBC anchor Chris Hayes jumped in. So did the Philadelphia Inquirer and The Nation magazine. And the always delightful Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, D-N.Y.
And before the election, Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin said this of people who she described as President Trump’s enablers: “Shunning, shaming these people is a statement of moral indignation that these people are not fit for polite society.… It’s not only that Trump has to lose, but that all his enablers have to lose. We have to collectively, in essence, burn down the Republican Party. We have to level them because if there are survivors, if there are people who weather this storm, they will do it again.”
She’s gross. No wonder Trump voters were shy around the media’s nosy pollsters
The side of peace wants to tear you to pieces. It’s never been about compromise. . . .
. . . I just wish they’d wear brown shirts so we’d recognize them. But this ain’t new. It began years before this election: shutting down speakers, banning people from media platforms, cancel culture. The delusional woke-ism that energizes the mob in the streets, in politics and in media.
People losing jobs and businesses. Criminals burning buildings. So why not a witch hunt? It fits.
Imagine the reverse: After a Trump win, his fans vow to create a MAGA inquisition! You can’t imagine it, because we’re normal. We see people before we see power. . . .

The Never Trump Lincoln Project, a political action committee run by multiple GOP campaign operatives opposed to President Donald Trump, shared a post to social media on Tuesday targeting two Porter Wright attorneys in Pennsylvania who are working to assist the Trump campaign with claims of voter fraud.
“Here are two attorneys attempting to help Trump overturn the will of the Pennsylvanian people,” the committee wrote in a tweet, which has now been removed.
Included in the tweet were photos of the two targeted attorneys, along with email addresses and phone numbers where they could be contacted.
“Make them famous,” the committee added to the tweet. . . .

On ‘The Howard Stern Show’ Gov. Andrew Cuomo said he would have ‘decked’ President Trump if he wasn’t the governor.
How are you going to do that? Steal from people who have money and give handouts to people who don’t? You can’t tax your way to prosperity. You aren’t entitled to other people’s money no matter how much they have. Taxation just leads to higher prices, and less jobs. Tax a business owner whether big or small they will just pass the costs down to the average joes through price hikes or layoffs.By ensuring the needs of of everyone are met.
LOL. Yeah No thanks. Pope St. John Paul II, made it crystal clear that there is no magisterium of the USCCB.you should start with the USCCB’s Economic Justice for All if you have further questions.
Of course there is doubt this is true. Hillary Clinton did actually concede. History may not be popular here, but this was only four years ago.Ok. In other words if the shoe were on the foot no doubt Hillary would be cool with Biden wanting to sort out any allegations of election fraud possibly committed by the Republican Party and not be in a hurry to concede?
Well we don’t have to worry about “Whataboutism”Just a quick correction of what Hillary said to Biden - but it really changes the context:“Whatever happens, do not concede defeat on the night of the Nov. 3 election.”
I would prefer that the default is “We think the election was conducted fairly” instead of “We don’t trust the election was run fairly and want to check”.Is it really too much to ask to make sure an election was conducted fairly? That election laws were adhered to? I’m sure you don’t trust the Republican Party and if the situation were in reverse you would appreciate it if the Biden campaign worked hard to find out if the Republican Party manipulated votes.
The anger and denial comes from not trusting the media. Trump said there was evidence of Fraud. The media, with out checking, went on the offensive and said that Trump with out evidence makes the claims.Without evidence, this is just an exercise in lawyer employment.
You are quite mistaken. I would, in fact, if the lawsuits were able to eliminate enough ballots for him to win, accept that outcome.I’m sure you don’t trust the Republican Party and if the situation were in reverse you would appreciate it if the Biden campaign worked hard to find out if the Republican Party manipulated votes.
Interesting discussion we could have about the role of the press in a free society.I am not saying that Biden lost. All I am saying is that the Media is not investigating and are simply deflecting. This is what you call propaganda.
Once upon a time, that was the default assumption.I would prefer that the default is “We think the election was conducted fairly
They came of age in the age of the internet. We should all strive to be above average, which sounds mathematically silly, but what it means is we need to learn how to surf an read for content, not opinion. Hopefully future generations will be better at this. But our nation is so incredibly broken, lines of information are too muddy, the average person doesn’t know who to trust.
These problems started ed way before 2016
It would be nice if all you think “should be” were, but it is not.I think they should be impartial.
