No, that isn’t how it works.
The wealthiest people (the top 1%) , on average get about 6 out of 10 dollars (58.5%) of their income from capital gains, dividends, interest, rent, and profits (capital income) rather than wages and salaries (earned income, 41.5% of the share). It is even more skewed when you get to the very, very rich (top .1 — multi-millionaires who made just under 5 million per year in 2010) who earn almost 70% of their income from capital sources. These were numbers from 2007. They are probably even more skewed now.

How are you going to do that? Steal from people who have money and give handouts to people who don’t? You can’t tax your way to prosperity. You aren’t entitled to other people’s money no matter how much they have. Taxation just leads to higher prices, and less jobs. Tax a business owner whether big or small they will just pass the costs down to the average joes through price hikes or layoffs.

Again were there any allegations of election fraud / vote manipulation committed by the Republican Party in 2016? Hillary did concede but at the time mail in ballots were not done on the scale that we saw in 2020.
Is it really too much to ask to make sure an election was conducted fairly? That election laws were adhered to? I’m sure you don’t trust the Republican Party and if the situation were in reverse you would appreciate it if the Biden campaign worked hard to find out if the Republican Party manipulated votes.

I would prefer that the default is “We think the election was conducted fairly” instead of “We don’t trust the election was run fairly and want to check”.
Without evidence, this is just an exercise in lawyer employment.

The anger and denial comes from not trusting the media. Trump said there was evidence of Fraud. The media, with out checking, went on the offensive and said that Trump with out evidence makes the claims.
A reputable media would try and look to see if what he said was true, instead of keep saying that there is no evidence.
The media has gone from, there is no evidence to, there is fraud, but not enough to sway an election. My question is… Why is the media not investigating? They are not, they are analyzing, not having people on the ground, not interviewing those who have come forward. The media simply says, no evidence. That is not journalism.
I distrust the media for a really long time. Due to past experiences, where I saw much lies where I had been.
I am not saying that Biden lost. All I am saying is that the Media is not investigating and are simply deflecting. This is what you call propaganda.

You are quite mistaken. I would, in fact, if the lawsuits were able to eliminate enough ballots for him to win, accept that outcome.
If the current president does not want to concede, the least he could do is acknowledge that he is behind and allow for the potential of transition to go forward. Have we had a commander-in-chief for four years that does not even know what a contingency is?

Interesting discussion we could have about the role of the press in a free society.
Do they only report what others tell them? Do they do independent investigations? Do they investigate things that seem to bolster a party in a lawsuit or a political party in an election?
I do think they should independently verify facts. I think they should look for the truth. I think they should be impartial.

There is a chance that even if there is fraud, if it is not overwhelming, the Courts may let it ride as to not divide the country.
The fraud will really need to be overwhelming for courts to rule and for it to deeply affect an election.
Now, this in Pennsylvania, obviously, if there is a scenario where votes can be cast after the election by 3 days or so, if post dates on letters are not important, that sort of situation can not happen.

Once upon a time, that was the default assumption.
But our nation is so incredibly broken, lines of information are too muddy, the average person doesn’t know who to trust.
These problems started ed way before 2016

They came of age in the age of the internet. We should all strive to be above average, which sounds mathematically silly, but what it means is we need to learn how to surf an read for content, not opinion. Hopefully future generations will be better at this.
One thing that helps is reading sideways, by opening multiple news browsers from sources that normally do not agree and find out what facts are in common and uncontested, then not accept the other stuff for a time, as clarity often comes with time.

You are absolutely correct, we should all stop arguing and let God sort all of this out.
We should close the pro life movement, let God decide on abortion, start catering to the LGBT people, let them get married in our Churches etc, God will fix all of this.
