Sticking to the KJV is better than other choices available to people. However, sticking to the KJV is not in the KJV, and if you were living in 200AD or so, you just might view a future KJV as an addition. So really, you’re just going with what Throwald wants. Ask God to guide you and He’ll show you the Way.Perhaps you should read the story of the deaths of Aaron’s two sons, when they ‘added’ incense to a sacrificial offering, because the Lord had not instructed them to do so. I WILL NOT follow ANY beliefs or practices, that are ‘added to’ or ‘deleted from’ the KJV Bible, that I read and follow. We are instructed (per the Word of God), to evaluate what others are teaching us, against The Word of God, in order to see if we are being taught things that are not per His Word. We are to ask for ‘proof’ that these ‘changes’, are in fact, God’s Word. If there is no proof, then we are to take them as being false prophecy.
Remember, The Word of God, IS GOD! If you change His Word, you worship another God. Analyze each and every thing that is taught in the Catholic Church (and many Protestant Churches), and you will see very quickly, the errors being taught. It is each individual’s responsibility to ensure the correctness of his/her beliefs. We all will be judged on this.![]()
