Perhaps you should read the story of the deaths of Aaron’s two sons, when they ‘added’ incense to a sacrificial offering, because the Lord had not instructed them to do so. I WILL NOT follow ANY beliefs or practices, that are ‘added to’ or ‘deleted from’ the KJV Bible, that I read and follow. We are instructed (per the Word of God), to evaluate what others are teaching us, against The Word of God, in order to see if we are being taught things that are not per His Word. We are to ask for ‘proof’ that these ‘changes’, are in fact, God’s Word. If there is no proof, then we are to take them as being false prophecy.

Remember, The Word of God, IS GOD! If you change His Word, you worship another God. Analyze each and every thing that is taught in the Catholic Church (and many Protestant Churches), and you will see very quickly, the errors being taught. It is each individual’s responsibility to ensure the correctness of his/her beliefs. We all will be judged on this. 🙂
Sticking to the KJV is better than other choices available to people. However, sticking to the KJV is not in the KJV, and if you were living in 200AD or so, you just might view a future KJV as an addition. So really, you’re just going with what Throwald wants. Ask God to guide you and He’ll show you the Way.

Absolutely ridiculous! So if we believe in God we should never lock our doors because God will protect us from robbers? Police shouldn’t have bullet proof vests, no need for car alarms, and what the heck–no more anti-biotics! God has given human beings free will. And with free will you get people who choose to try and assassinate Popes! Should the President of the United States forego having a secret service if he’s a God-fearing man? I can’t believe this?
I have been having a great time, reading the response postings, that my postings have generated. Now, let me explain my postings in regards to the Pope. Forget about all of the precautions noted in the prior postings, that have nothing to do with teaching the Word of God. If I am called by God (or anyone else is), to do a specific task for Him, why would I fear for my life? It does not make sense to me. If I am to be hurt or killed, while carrying out God’s work, am I not glorifying God’s name? Would I not become a martyr for His name’s sake? Is God not directing me, as he directed Moses, David, Gideon, etc., etc.? This is what I am referring to. My intention was not to include every possible known and unknown danger of physical harm found on this planet, covering all types of occupations. The Pope (theoretically) is supposed to be carrying out God’s work (ie. not man’s). Has he no faith in God? If he must face the possibility of harm or death, in order to carry out God’s work, is he any different than the prophets, missionaries, etc., that have faced (and still face) possible harm or death? 🙂

Little do you know, how foolish that your posting is. I experienced two visions and a dream. I was in the presence of God in the second vision. I have seen Jesus Christ. I have been assigned a job to do. These postings are a very small part of this ‘job’. He used the KJV Bible, in order to show me errors that are in the Bible. He has also shown me some of His lost Word.

You may believe what you will. Unfortunately, even with regards to man’s interpretation of The Trinity and The Godhead, you are in error. I have been taught the truth. My job is to reveal the truth. What I have found, however, is that no one believes me. Doesn’t this sound familiar??? Read your scriptures, instead of believing and following the incorrect doctrines that you have been taught by those that are in darkness. I glorify God in the work that I do, including the rejection by the likes of you. Believe me, most of the Christian churches are currently in very serious darkness. I have been shown, that no one is questioning their beliefs. No one is seeking the truth from God, directly. They are simply sucking up false prophecy, and regurgitating it, and through vanity, proclaiming in great vanity, how ‘Godly’ that they are. These are things that I have been taught through constant prayer and reading the scriptures, over a very ‘concentrated’ 6-year period.

Prior to receiving this wisdom from God, I prayed for 10+ years, many times a day, for wisdom, knowledge, understanding and experience, concerning His Word. I was finding discrepancies concerning The Trinity & The Godhead, within the scriptures. I now know the truth. No man can teach me anything concerning this subject. I have been taught by God, Himself. 🙂

As I recall from the story, David killed Goliath. He trusted the Lord, but he also defended himself.

Once again, Matthew 7:1-3.
The pope is trusting in the Lord, carrying out God’s work, and prudently defending himself, just like David did.

OH, a person who’s firing up their own religion. How unique. Thank you, I’ll pass, been there, done that, wouldn’t do it again for any reason. Basing your religion on yourself! And thinking people should follow your “special” truth. Folly you fool.

What ‘new’ or ‘personal’ religion are you talking about? Your own Bible (If you are a Christian), states the following;
  1. The manifestation of Christ to you, if you are right with God (John 14:21-23).
  2. If you are ‘chosen’ and given the tools to do a ‘job’ for God, you will be thrown out of the churches, because if even the master (Jesus Christ) has been thrown out, you will surely be thrown out. Here, He is not talking about a Christian being thrown out of a non-Christian church, but His own church.
Your response, simply fulfills His Word (prophecy). You wish to remain in darkness. That is your decision. If you ‘doubt’ what I write, go to God in prayer, and seek wisdom from Him. Using your own vanity, is a spiritually dangerous move. There are many prophecies found in the scriptures. One of them, “We will return to the days of Noah”, should always be kept in mind. Another, concerns the increase in false prophecy. These are warnings, that very few heed. If the churches at the time of Christ were ‘infiltrated’ with false prophecy (scribes & Pharisees), and God’s Word warns us of similar events to be unfolded in the last days, I’d be very careful of being caught up in this mess. We also know, that Christ talked in parables, so that He would not have to save those that were involved with teaching (spreading) false prophecy to His sheep.

The events that I experienced, are real. What you choose to do with this knowledge, is up to you. I serve God, with both love and fear. I know the truth. Whether you accept or reject the wisdom that I have passed on to you, is of course, your own decision. 🙂

Oh the IRONY of such a statement. :rotfl:

Sweetie, forum rules: no personal revelations and no proselytizing. 👍

YES! I am a prophet. This is not of my own choosing. I did not even know what was happening. I went to God in great fear. I thought that satan was turning me into a ‘false’ prophet. I was in tears, and in great anguish. I asked God, “Who or what am I?” He answered me immediately. He said, that I am who I am. I did not question Him further.

I experienced two visions and a dream. I was awakened, and told to write the dream down. He unfolded the ‘meaning’ of the different parts of the dream, over a two year period. I was told in the dream, that anything that I wanted to know concerning His Word, I simply had to ask Him, in prayer. This included, ALL of His Word, which covered His Word given unto us in the past, but is now lost. I was forced to ‘rip apart’ the KJV Bible, with Him guiding me as I read and re-read the scriptures.

The Trinity & The Godhead, consists of 4 figures, not 3. Both the Lord God Almighty, and His only begotten son Jesus Christ were manifested to me. The presence of The Father and The Holy Ghost (who proceedeth from the Father) were made known unto me, but I could not see them. The Lord God Almighty is The Father’s Son. Jesus Christ, is His Son. The angels are ‘created’ sons of the Lord God Almighty. We, if found worthy until the end, will become sons/daughters of the Lord God Almighty. THIS IS THE TRUTH!

I have been told, that even now, my name is written in heaven. No man can take this treasure from me. 🙂

Uhm… your name in a prior life didn’t happen to be Joseph Smith now, would it? :hmmm:

Yeah I meant prophet… sorry for the spelling… Now are you a profit like Benny Hinn?

I was raised LDS thorwald. That particular religion started from Joseph Smith and his claimed visions of God. Sound familiar?

I know religious BS when I see it. You got it. I don’t need it. Or course, you can choose to believe what you like.

I am a Mormon. I see lots of hate on this Catholic forum towards those who do not believe like a Catholic. I thought I would learn a lot. I seem to be learning that there is complete intolerance for ALL non-Catholics.

God bless you bacalzo. I hope you decide to stick around despite the impression you have been given so far.

God bless

:console:

Well, I am really tolerant. And, I think there is a lot to learn here. Don’t worry about people not agreeing with your theology. Just remember that people do differ strongly on religion and that will create heated topics. I sometimes just log off and do something else for a while and then come back on when I clear my mind from the more heated topics.

That’s not true at all. You’ll find many folks in here with great charity and a willingness to respectfully talk about differences in faith. I personally 100% totally reject LDS beliefs, view Joseph Smith as not being prophetic in any sense of the word, and I believe the LDS outlook on God’s personhood and salvation are totally wrong. You probably believe the Roman Catholic Church to be part of a great apostacy. That’s the essence of Mormonism, apostacy. So, we definitely differ in beliefs. That being said, it’s hard to find a more responsible, kind-hearted, helpful, clean-cut, charitable, and dedicated bunch of people than Latter Day Saints. I have worked with them and have had students in my class who are LDS and they represent their faith WELL. I love their dedication to personal responsiblity, their willingness to love their neighbors, and the work ethic they all share. They’re a great bunch of people. The best witness Mormons have is themselves, great people. I just disagree with the theology and religion itself. But we Catholics and Mormons socially speaking have a GREAT DEAL IN COMMON morally. In California it was the Catholic Church and LDS Church that came together to fight gay marriage and pass Proposition 8. We need to dialogue, debate, and heck even have a few heated arguments, but we also need to stay focus on what we have in common morally in a nation that has gone morally very adrift…👍
