This comment is not even worthy of a respose addressing it. Weak, you can do better.😃
So why did you respond? Is it or is it not a fact that Jesus paid taxes? Was He setting a bad example for us, when He INSTRUCTED Peter to pay?

i’m a union construction worker ,and most if not all the guys i work with have been talking about the need to give back the last raise we received ,and foregoing the next to remain competitive in this climate.

The writer will continue in business as long as he is making money. If I worked for him, I’d disregard the letter.

And many will. But if they get canned, at least they can’t say they were not warned.

The defense industry had that benefit taken from them by the President, who cares more about power than actual families, apparently.

Smart cartoon. So, He flipped tables… AND He paid taxes.
My minor was in the classics, specializing in the early Roman Empire period.

Are you aware of what type of Roman taxes existed in the 1st century?

All I need to know is that they were NOT a matter of personal whim or fancy.

Did you also happen to minor in Church history? Know anything about those saints who governed?

i read this as an unemployed construction worker and search and find out that the house is 90,000 sq.ft…all i can think is some lucky guys have long term jobs building this monstrosity, bricklayers, rodmen, electricians, hvac .their aren’t a bunch of wage slaves, their skilled guys that are needed for a job this size, and there will be a lot of envious crybabies whining about the unfairness of it all.take it from me it won’t be threats these cats will be handing out if you talk this garbage around them.a lot of blue collars are figuring out that the ivory towers are directly responsible for them getting screwed.the luxury taxes on items such as yachts,i have good friends that this affected ,they have one man lofts making sails and bimini tops that these taxes directly affect. mansions that goofs like this build support friends of mine family ,plumbers ,yard care ,nannys.and all the miscellaneous trades that keep places like this going. we are really sick of the whining of a bunch of people that have never built nothing ,have just tore down. i am grateful that these guys have jobs.
My brother-in-law is a construction worker - he works on homes that rich people buy and then want to remodel, sometimes from the ground up. As my brother-in-law says, ā€œthese people have money. Sometimes they want things done that are expensive and when we tell them it can be done but it is going to cost, they shrug and say they want it. Or sometimes they change the plans on a half-done remodeling job and have it started over, paying for it all. It’s their money so they can spend it however they want, and I have work and they pay me decent.ā€

He had steady work for years but finally the downturn bit into the wealthy he works for and they are hunkering down and not spending money on the remodel jobs as they worry about new taxes and healthcare costs, so my bother-in-law is unemployed.

Just one story, but just saying.

God bless you.

this is a hundred thousand stories.

Like the poster was kind enough to point out ā€œone limited exampleā€. šŸ˜‰
That we know of. Who knows what happened after the jugs of water were turned into wine, or when the owner came back for his donkey and colt.

Indeed. All we know is that the single occasion we are privy to, when taxes were demanded, He instructed His follower (Peter) to pay.
