We wouldn’t be a society of defenseless victims. We would be a society that doesn’t enable criminal mischief by handing someone as many deadly weapons as they can carry with a wink and nod and without having any idea what they’re going to do with them.

Well we need to define the terms first. When liberals say vigilante they normally mean any lawful armed self defense by a civilian.

When the webster dictionary says vigilante it says a member of a volunteer committee organized to suppress and punish crime summarily (as when the processes of law are viewed as inadequate); broadly : a self-appointed doer of justice.

I am not advocation what Mr. Webster says

You keep repeating that line and you still haven’t looked up the laws. It is illegal. Period. The fact that criminals break the law is just impossible to comprehend, apparently.

As I’ve mentioned; require psychological screening in the permit process, introduce legal liability to gun vendors who sell to suspicious or otherwise unqualified individuals, restrict sales of ammunition without demonstration of legitimate purpose, etc.

In this shooting, it doesn’t appear that this shooter owned any guns. So how would preventing him from buying a gun have prevented this shooting?

LOL, its you conservatives and libertarians who are emotional. libertarians are like a bunch of insolent children who just dont want anyone to tell them what to do. by the way i cant speak for anyone else, but im not a liberal.

i agree with realjulienne, we should pray for the families and the deceased.

As a faithful Catholic, I’d be more than willing to accept more stringent control laws, if Democrats allowed more stringent laws against legal abortion (let’s say, no legal abortions after eight weeks gestation).
