The DNC points out they had a robust counter-convention of their own. In no particular order, according to a DNC official, getting the Democratic message out at the Republican convention they had a plane, a satellite truck, an office steps from the perimeter, full campaign support, 40 staffers, four press conferences, the Democratic National Committee chair, the Democratic Governor’s Association Chair, a senator, a governor, house members, and bus tours in three states

Demonstrations are quite different from an attempt to organize a counter-convention. Every convention on both sides has loads of protesters.

Wasn’t that the height of vulgarity? Why does the Democrat party reduce a woman to her reproductive system? The focus isn’t on lifting women up through opportunities for education, career advancement, starting or operating a business but on free birth control and abortion rights. All you have to do is look at the DNC lineup to see where their minds are: Planned Parenthood, NARAL, Sandra Fluke.
They flipped them. Their motto is “Do not think about what you can do for your country, demand what your country can give to you. Vote for us, and we’ll take it away from someone else to make sure you get it.”
Obama needs Clinton to speak at the DNC convention. People were working during the Clinton administration. The nostalgia will take their minds off their joblessness.

Well not sure what you were addressing other than giving a bit of bio which is quite similar to my own. My parents were ‘depression babies’ born in 25 and 29 respectively. My father was a WWII vet. Both raised by staunch Republicans. The name Franklin Roosevelt was not allowed to be spoken in my mother’s home.
