Don’t hold your breath. The party of unrestricted abortion, gay marriage, and “free” love is hardly going to shut down a very lucrative industry.

The problem is the free speech issue juxtaposed against the damage this filth causes. It is so easily accessable and apparently young men are becoming captive at earlier and earlier ages. This does nothing positive for relationsihps and these young men are going to get a very distorted view of how the human body is supposed to be used to the greater glory of God not falling under the spell of the evil one.

Maybe Cardinal Dolan will mention this scourge in his Benediction?

It is very egotistical to have a stand sculpture of yourself like Mt Rushmore. Wonder what impression that will give to the millions of Americans near poverty or unemployed.

It seems that this was neither commissioned by or approved by the Democrats.

Certainly, but that has no bearing on a privately created sand sculpture being approved or constructed by the Democratic Party.

Hero worship is not uncommon in either party…Reagan comes to mind on the Republican side, and the push to put him on Mount Rushmore some years ago. Fortunately…no one else of either party will ever be put there…no more stable rock.

Well John I hear you and agree to some extent. The President can’t stop free speech (unless it’s religious 😉 ) But then how many times did we all hear about the banner “Mission Accomplished” above George Bush’s head when he was aboard the Navy ship. No mind that it referred to the Sailors and their specific mission not to Bush or the end of the Iraq War, that Bush didn’t request it, that he was never known for being particularly egotistical. It was BUSH’S FAULT…man that phrase is gettin’ kinda stale isn’t it?

The problem with the sculpture, regardless of who did it, is that it feeds into the Messiah complex, the enormous ego Obama has demonstrated, and also the sort of misty eyed adoration he USED to invoke. IOW it’s easy to believe that neither Obama or the party had any problem with this silly display. It’s just SOOOOO Obama-siah!

Something that should be avoided by all…plus…to my eye, it’s not very good, even for a sand sculpture, and more than just a bit tacky.

A few months ago I posted a link to a news report about a Gay Porn King (described by the NY Post), Terry Bean, who is an Obama bundler. Terry Bean once controlled the biggest production of gay porn in USA, $10 million per year. Early this summer when Pres. Obama was in Portland, OR for a fundraiser sponsored by Terry Bean the president gave a shout out to Bean thanking him for his help!

Yep, and the most truly revolting thing of all is that about half the people in America who claim to be Catholic will vote for that abomination.

Sometimes I wish the Pope would just make a sweeping excommunication of all “pro-choice” Catholics (and I choke on that phrase).
