Both are matters of opinion.
Fact not an opinion
Since President Obama Took Office, The Unemployment Rate For Women Has Increased From 7.0 Percent To 8.1 Percent. (
Bureau Of Labor Statistics, Accessed 8/3/12)
Since Obama Took Office, The Number Of Unemployed Women Has Increased By 860,000 To 5.9 Million (5,865,000). (Bureau Of Labor Statistics, Accessed 8/3/12)
And Romney/Ryan use every chance they get to attack Obama…what else is new?
It is a fact not an opinion
“Global Opinion Of President Barack Obama Has Declined Dramatically Since 2009.” “Global opinion of President Barack Obama has declined dramatically since 2009, according to a new survey of the president and his policies in 21 countries. Approval of Obama’s international policies has dropped from 78 percent to 63 percent in Europe; from 34 percent to 15 percent in Muslim Countries; from 40 percent to 22 percent in Russia; and from 57 percent to 27 percent in China, reports the Pew Global Attitudes Project.” (Tim Mak, “World Poll: Chill On Obama Policies,”
Politico, 6/13/12)
So what? An “all-time high” - you said it yourself. What difference does it make which spot of land/sea the oil comes from?
Domestic oil drilling has increased mainly on private land in North Dakota. Drilling on public land has decreased by 11%. Nearly 1/2 of refineries along the East coast are closed or operating below capacity because of transporting problems which relates to the Jones act
How does having that language (or for that matter supporting Jerusalem as the capital) help either Israel or the US? What is important is how people can live in peace, not which spots of God’s green earth generations of people are willing to fight and die over just so that their children can grow up and do the same ad infinitum…
Matters because Obama’s relationship with Israel is on rocky ground. Israel maintains its capital is Jersulum and that should be respected.
Obama said in 2008, ‘Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel and it must remain undivided’ then flip flopped
Obviously, opinion, as there are veterans who support Obama.
Not the point, statiscially life for veterans
has got more difficult under Obama
It’s true that outsourcing is not a partisan phenomenon - it’s a money-making one plain and simple. Still, it’s funny how those independent fact checkers don’t get the same attention when they point out Romney/Ryan lies…
This is the DNC so fact checking is pointed at the claims there not at Romney and Ryan
Do you take the best image of yourself to a job interview? Everybody does.
Hardly the same. Debt crossed $16 trillion day the DNC starts, polls show many Americans are concerned about it because taxpayers will have to pay that debt. It was not addressed, no plan was given on how to decrease debt
Words mean nothing without the accompanying actions. Right here on this forum I have seen multiple justifications presented for gender disparities in pay.
Romney is the person addressed, not people on this forum
What’s the advantage of Medicare Advantage? On what basis do you claim that seniors will lose health care? Is change the same as loss?
Medicare cuts in ObamaTax effect the elderly by cutting medicare advantage payment rates by 2017 an average of $3700 for every person. 27% below what recipients would receive with out ObamaTax. If they lose $3700 annually in Medicare from 65 years old until their death at 78 they would lose $44000 in benefits and medicare spending would increase $25 billion with ObamaTax
Are you saying that things cannot get worse? Higher taxes and less access to entitlements could surely worsen the plight of the middle class.
Things would get worse under continued policies of the Obama admin. These policies have not helped the middle class
4.5 million jobs is certainly not the whole picture BUT it is not a lie. Both sides cherry pick the ‘facts’ that support their viewpoint.
There are less people working now than when Obama took office.
4.5 million from february 2010 (8 months in to the economic recovery) is true but that statistic does not consideration new jobless claims every month during Obama’s presidency. Given population increase 10 million Americans have entered the work force during Obama’s presidency. Job growth is not keeping up with population increase
29 months after Reagon been presiden 8 million jobs had been created. Bush created 4.7 million jobs in the 29 months after July 2003, 200000 more than Obama
