She did attend Georgetown because she felt it was an outstanding law school. She just thought she could take it upon herself to get the university to drop its adherence to Catholic Teaching. šŸ¤·
She made ridiculous statement at the House Steering and Policy Committee hearing that birth control would cost $3000 during law school, when you can buy it for $6 for a month at some Targets $9 in other states and $9 at Walmart. That is $72 / $108 annually

She definitely isnā€™t a math major. šŸ™‚

Iā€™m not like a lot of Democrats.

I canā€™t stand ideologues of the right and of the left.

Ideologues are what is making this process so disgusting.
Well, prepare for a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth from your fellow Democrats regarding the Cardinalā€™s benediction. You may want to try to align your party to the Church, but most party faithfuls save their nastiest comments for the Church and her adherents.

Well, in a sense, we are all ideologues. Your heart is in the right place. We agree on whatā€™s important, care for the poor and the disenfranchised. We just disagree on how to go about it.

I am convinced the Dems have the wrong approach. Itā€™s not working now, and it hasnā€™t been working since 1965. Yes, there are some heartless people in the Republican party too.

Judging by the comments on the link you posts. šŸ˜¦

Huffington post readers are not happy with Cardinal Dolanā€™s invitation, 1 person commented that they hoped there was no expectation to be silent during Cardinal Dolanā€™s prayer
Yep. That will go over wellā€¦vocal protests while the Cardinal is praying. I hope they donā€™t stoop that low, but I wonā€™t be surprised if it happens.

I wouldnā€™t say I am a Democrat per se. firstly.

Secondly, many of the most vociferous of the Left, AND THE RIGHT are the most grating obnoxious, and downright jerky people.

A bunch of clanging gongs. The lot of them.

One personā€¦hopedā€¦no expectation. Wow! That settles it for Republicans. Now, if one Republican made a stupid statement, posters here would be falling over themselves to let us know that one individual doesnā€™t represent the entire GOP. šŸ¤·

It is the nature of the left to be obnoxious. OWS vs Teapartiers. Who left the most mess?

Who disrupts masses? Who parades and harasses Catholics going to mass?

Compare left-wing protests with right-wing protests. When I protest a PP, they yell at us, curse us, turn their car stereos full volume to tune out our quiet prayers.

In preparation for the Sept. 3-6 convention, the Diocese of Charlotte has posted two ā€œlarger-than-lifeā€ banners to publicize the Churchā€™s beliefs about marriage, human life and religious freedom, the Catholic News Herald reported Aug. 25.
The banners are hanging on two buildings owned by the diocese and are within feet of where the convention will take place.
A six-foot by 10-foot banner proclaims, ā€œReligious Liberty, The Soul of Democracy,ā€ while a six-foot by 27-foot banner at another location reads, ā€œProtect the Unborn, Defend Marriage, Safeguard Religious Liberty.ā€
Cardinal Dolan has been an outspoken critic of the federal contraception mandate issued by the Obama administration in January 2011. It requires employers to offer health insurance plans that cover contraception, sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs, even if doing so violates their consciences.

Good move from the Diocese of Charlotte

Thank you for that, Christine. Your genuine charity shines through and is a good example to others. Itā€™s a welcome change from the all-Democrats-are-foaming-at-the-mouth Christ-hating, Catholic Church-hating, baby-murdering homosexual-sex-loving perverts comments I read in one form or another on the Forum. šŸ¤·

Obama Rejects Catholic Leader for Democratic Convention Prayer

lifenews.com/2012/08/24/obama-rejects-catholic-leader-for-democratic-convention-prayer/

Gotta love that Lifenews, they even quote a Post article saying the details were being worked out, yet ā€œObamaā€ had already rejected it. Journalism at its finest!

Democrats change their minds and accept Cardinal Dolanā€™s invitation to pray at their convention

According to the NY Post article, it was the intention all along to high a high-ranking member of the Catholic clergy offer a prayer. So, this headline is disingenuous.
