You mean as opposed to legitimate rapes? Hmm. Seems I have heard that recently.

maybe here,lifesitenews.com/news/women-who-cried-wolf-the-illegitimate-rape-claim-behind-roe-v-wade
the very foundation for the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case which legalized abortion in the U.S. – the false rape claim by Norma McCorvey — Jane Roe in Roe v Wade. This is her testimony on January 21, 1998, before the Subcommittee on the Constitution, Federalism, and Property Rights of the Senate Judiciary Committee:
“My name is Norma McCorvey. I’m sorry to admit that I’m the Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade. The affidavit submitted to the Supreme Court didn’t happen the way I said it did, pure and simple. I lied! Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffey needed an extreme case to make their client look pitiable. Rape seemed to be the ticket. What made rape even worse? A gang rape! It all started out as a little lie, but my little lie grew and became more horrible with each telling.”
The largest illegitimate rape claim ever perpetrated in the history of our nation was the foundation for the filing of Roe v Wade, which led to abortion on demand in our country! So the next time you hear anyone complaining about Todd Akin’s “legitimate rape” remark, I want you to remember that abortion rights activists are the women who cried wolf. They are the ones who are squarely responsible for the skepticism we see today regarding women who claim to be pregnant by rape, and they’ve set an example for other women to lie about it too. For those on the left who criticize Akin, I can assuredly call you out as hypocrites.
And for those who make the rape exception, some blame rests on you as well. After all, once you make a rape exception, you now have to set a standard in order to determine whether a claim of rape is legitimate so that the government will not be defrauded when a woman wants to receive Medicaid funding to abort her child - as in the Hyde Amendment exceptions. Rape exceptions put the government in this position – whether they require a police report, social service agency report, or a doctor’s certification that he’s satisfied that the woman’s claim of rape is legitimate.

It is the nature of the left to be obnoxious. OWS vs Teapartiers. Who left the most mess?

Who disrupts masses? Who parades and harasses Catholics going to mass?

Compare left-wing protests with right-wing protests. When I protest a PP, they yell at us, curse us, turn their car stereos full volume to tune out our quiet prayers.
Seen tee-shirts and bumper stickers made for rightist consumers?

I wouldn’t say I am a Democrat per se. firstly.

Secondly, many of the most vociferous of the Left, AND THE RIGHT are the most grating obnoxious, and downright jerky people.

A bunch of clanging gongs. The lot of them.
One thing that is certainly true is that the Democrats have changed. The party is not the same as it was under Kennedy, or Johnson, or even Clinton. That change has alienated many people right out of the party, including me.

Obama Rejects Catholic Leader for Democratic Convention Prayer

Gotta love that Lifenews, they even quote a Post article saying the details were being worked out, yet “Obama” had already rejected it. Journalism at its finest!

Democrats change their minds and accept Cardinal Dolan’s invitation to pray at their convention

According to the NY Post article, it was the intention all along to high a high-ranking member of the Catholic clergy offer a prayer. So, this headline is disingenuous.

GOTTA love Lifesite!

It’s the breitbart of the Pro-Life movement.

I try to not judge people by their smells.
Who disrupts masses? Who parades and harasses Catholics going to mass?
It must be a St. Louis thing. I’ve yet to see that in my diocese or in the Brooklyn diocese, or for that matter in the New York diocese.

Again, it must be a midwestern thing. Rosary-praying folks outside PP in Brooklyn and Manhattan are pretty much ignored. They’re too busy inside doing their dirty work and collecting money for doing it to waste time harassing a half dozen or so protesters outside.

LifeNews is the pro-life National Enquirer.

Lifenews not lifesite. It is reasonable to think that Obama as president would have the final word on who speaks and who will not and if Cardinal Dolan was not welcome then that it would be Obama’s decision

It was Gilliam’s post that had the citation.

thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/245913-cardinal-dolan-to-give-benediction-at-dem-convention

Rlg was pointing out the left is not happy about it.
I like sinead9191’s comment on that blog:
From what I’ve read of the Cardinal, he won’t be shy about praying for the unborn and for those who approve of abortion in his benediction. And, I certainly hope he takes advantage of the opportunity – unlike Georgetown University who caved to demands from Obama to remove or cover any religious picture or object in the auditorium before he would deliver an address. Or, the University of Notre Dame which conferred an honorary doctorate on Obama and allowed him to deliver a graduation address in which he defended his position on abortion. I don’t think Cardinal Dolan is a coward – unlike the presidents of these formerly prestigious universities!

A journalist does not deduce…what is or is not reasonable is irrelevant…what are they facts. In the vigor to smear the President they ignored the very article that they quoted.

Wonder too what words he will include? I hope words of protection for religious liberty, the unborn and traditional marriage. I suspect Cardinal Dolan’s invitation will n make the pro abortion speakers happy
I wonder if any of us will hear the prayer. It just might occur at the same time as a commercial break on all the major networks.

They hire escorts with bright orange vests to “protect” the moms from their cars to the building. Even though the parking lot is fenced in and we are not even allowed on the sidewalk. Their real purpose is to try to keep the moms and dads from changing their minds (IMO) because they often be seen cajoling those who stay in their parked cars to get out. It really makes me want to cry.

Reasonable?

That’s a guess with no factual basis.

Show me a comment from Obama.

it’s not like that at all in Little Rock or Brooklyn. I don’t know about Manhattan, but it sounds unlikely. Where can anyone find a parking spot anywhere in Manhattan past 6 in the morning? 😃

I’d guess that women going to an abortion clinic come out of the Subway with the usual mobs that use it in NY.

We just did.

John
As I have said it word be reasonable to deduce that Obama would have the final word. Lifenews is a reputable website that reports many things which the mainstream media will not report

Would not watch the DNC so would not know but the text of the prayer will be online
