This is a classic case of the Dems changing their minds due to public outcry.

First it was Cardinal Dolan
Then it was the platform

I mean how sincere do they come off when they do these things?

Hmm - I thought Wasserman Shultz said the Dems are open.

Okay. You still have to claim and pay tax on dividends or interest earned on Swiss Bank accounts.

And “Swiss Bank Accounts” sounds so nefarious. A blind trust of his wife’s had funds at UBS, a ginormous Swiss Bank (who has branches and employees here).

On come on, anything that starts with “Wasserman Shultz said” has to be taken with well a mountain of salt. She does not have a reputation for truthfulness.

A US citizens world wide income is taxable at the same rate regardless of where it is earned. They can get a credit for taxes they paid to another country but that, of course, doesn’t cut their total tax bill.

Thank you! So many of us are still curious,though, why he won’t share at least 2 or 3 more, could it be he maybe fearful, for some reason, of losing too many votes? Oh well, whatever.
We still have our President and the old pro to speak to us tonight, and there are the debates,
However if he wins in November, I do think we had all better get down on our knees and pray that we will not be sorry! Peace, Carlan

It is the epitome of lazy reporting, at best. If it was a “secret” Swiss or Cayman Island account he’d be prosecuted for tax evasion. The only reason we know about it is that he propery disclosed the account.

The whole tax return argument has gone no where. I really liked Romney shutting down Harry Reid. I hope that one day Mr. Reid is required to come forward with his “source” about Nominee Romney’s taxes.

In California, there are more Republicans elected to high-level, statewide offices than there are Democrats. The same is true in Texas.

What Democrats have done infrequently in 20 years - elect minorities to lead or represent their entire states - Republicans did four times in the 2010 cycle alone, and will do again with Ted Cruz in November. Its a trend that the next generation of Latino, black, and Indian political talents can’t help but see.
