Do Catholics still support Trump

Pray that the President grows in sanctity every day and that he will not be judged unfit for an eternal reward. That is a great prayer for any President.

He claims he is, and I give him the benefit of the doubt. However, some things he has said about forgiveness made me doubt that he really was. No deacon is perfect however, just like no President is.

You can ask if someone supports him or not. I’m saying political conjecture can be a big waste of time, and yet seems to be a trend nowadays.
 
That means beyond those requirements it’s up to the electoral system. The voters, though the Electoral College, do the determination if a candidate is qualified to be president. That is our system. You may not like the outcome this time. I didn’t like the outcome last time. That’s the way it goes. But according to the Constitution, he is qualified, so you are factually wrong. You can have your opinion, but that’s all it is.

BTW, even liberal pundits agree he has a really good chance of reelection. The economy will be better, he has incumbent advantage and the Dems are in disarray. So you may need to get used to him.

I love Trump and what he does. He had a great mind set on his agenda. He fights Isis, MS13 gang, border control, cares for his citizens, working for health care, bringing jobs back, employment is high, trillions of dollars are coming back into America, bringing jobs and corporations from other countries, his tax plan. Trying to defund plan parenthood.
He prays after every meeting. Amen
 
Did you hear His talk this morning. Not only was it great , Ben Carson was asked by Trump to lead them out with Prayer. Amen give the man some credit

You’re wrong there - it’s not just Trump supporters - Jimmy Carter also said the scrutiny of Trump was unprecedented.

And the scrutiny isn’t necessarily bad - especially since they are finding nothing on Trump anyway.

It only exonerates him. Yet the accusatory and hostile prejudice of the investigators I think is unfair and unhelpful.

I like what he is doing, I like his directness, his self-confidence, his way of speaking, his fearlessness, his no-nonsense attitude, his practicality, his intelligence, his stance on abortion, gay-marriage, illegal immigration, fairness in trade deals.

There is a lot I like about him.

I don’t like what he said in that Hollywood Access tape, I don’t like his use of expletives, I don’t like some of the name-calling.

I just have one question for you, one Catholic to another. Would you say that in the presence of Trump? Be completely honest.

Say Trump was standing right in front of us, would you say those words? If not, why?

I forgive trump for saying that and it wasn’t right But is forgivable.
 
Trump is dealing with a hostile press and a hostile broadcast media. Yes, he does provoke them. He uses his brashness to retaliate against their unfair print misrepresentations, expose their lack of impartiality, lack of professionalism and their lack of credibility. He is two steps ahead of the media and you don’t seem to realize what he is doing. When he’s done with them nobody will trust them. Think Trump’s poll numbers are bad? Check the media’s.

That’s true, although, Trump did also say he would appoint pro-life justices and it would then be turned over to the States, so I hope he keeps good on that promise which I am sure Mike Pence will.

I’m also not going to take as Gospel a ‘she said he said’ piece without any verifiable and reliable source especially in light of so much fake news.
