Not angry at all. Frustrated, yes. Upset, yes. Fearful for the country? Yes
Well i fall in that category in other aspects of my so i can’t condemn you or I’ll be a hypocrit. Maybe the verses i sent, God was telling me and not to share to others.
Well lets pray for one another.

Absolutely, and Merry Christmas! You are not my enemy because we have different opinions.

This is an internet forum. People are prone to hyperbole and emotions aren’t always evident. I just love a good debate, and maybe sometimes a chance to rant.

I think Mr Trump’s rash way of talking is having a big impact on his political success. It didn’t keep him from being elected, but had he actually kept his promise of acting Presidential and thought a bit more about someone’s reputation other than his own–I am particularly thinking about members of Congress–I think he’d have many more accomplishments than he has. As it is, his disapproval rate is very high and his approval rating is very low. His supporters may not care, but people who have to think about getting elected again do. He has put them between a rock and a hard place many times in the last year.

Why does he keep doing it? He thinks it helps him and makes him popular.

They are not going to make each bill about one thing. Legislating requires give and take (often criticized as “compromise,” as if that were always an evil) if all the states are going to feel they’re being represented and taken care of by the whole.

They forgot to list interest payments which are almost certain to increase because of larger deficit and higher interest rates. But who does the math when projected payments are $800 billion a year over the current $266 billion? Taking on unnecessary debt in our current environment is immoral IMO.

I think he is pathological. He can’t help himself. If people aren’t talking about him, he isn’t happy. Ha has to be the center of attention.

That keeps him from staying on message. That prevents the White House from successfully having an “agenda week”. He torpedos them before they start.

They forgot lots of things on there, wasn’t it like400 pages or so.
I love his plan though to bring a oil plant here.

I guess you can’t teach old dogs new tricks.
He still thinks he is on celebrity apprentice. Lol
He still a very great President.
Watch Fox news, they have Catholic Anchorman on there.
CNN is so so negative,

More right-wing stoogery. Bernanke already gave them over $5 trillion in QE purchases at reasonably low interest rates. These guys had the money all the time so what did they do with it firstly but to buy out Congress. Apparently there is more than one buffoon in Washington.

By what standard? He is terrible at being the President, just being the President. His hate-filled tweets and truth-free statements undermine the office every day. Every. Single. Day.

I think I have found your problem. If you only watch Fox News, you are filled with unbalanced cheerleading for the President .

You also need to watch, if you are truly interested in seeing all sides, MSNBC and CNN at least. You are getting a totally biased view of events if you only watch Fox.
CNN is so so negative,
Well, the President is an idiot. When you truthfully report on the antics of an idiot President, it is mostly negative.

Actually, CNN strives to have panels drawn from all sides of the political spectrum. It is harder to find people who are pro-Trump, apparently, because that universe is shrinking.

Not sure what that has to do with my suggestion. I’m simply saying that no bill should include anything that does not directly pertain to the matter under discussion. So, for example, including a provision opening up the Alaska Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling has absolutely nothing to do with tax reform, and should not be part of the bill. It should be a separate bill. Look at the number of bills that begin “Omnibus…” --that means they’ve stuffed tens, or even hundreds, of separate items in there. This is the reason that during political campaigns you see ads saying “Candidate X voted against apple pie.” Maybe he did, but it wasn’t the reason he voted that way–he probably only wanted a few items in the bill, but was forced to vote “yes” on the whole thing to get his few items. That’s a problem.

And of course if Senator M. from Alaska wants to open up Alaska to unlimited drilling, good for her. But don’t stick it in the tax reform bill. Simply get promises from the other Senators that they will support her when she introduces such a bill. If they break their promises, then their ability to get anything done will suffer.

I will point out how the Pope treated The Me First President - he did not smile in the meeting and and stood back from Trump - quite obviously he does not support this president or wants to be associated with him in anyway. I don’t blame him - you don’t pump the ego of a man like this.

Trump had his fans even when he was defaulting on his casinos and divorcing his wives. So why should they stop now? The Pied Piper had fewer followers.

Cnn will feel your head with hate
CNN along with much of the main stream media today are an absolute joke, what I find so unsettling is the amount of people willing to eat up anything they say without question.

These people should take a look at ProjectVeritas, they can smear James O’keefe all they like, but they can’t deny raw footage. Same with the Center for Medical Progress and many others.

God Bless You and Merry Christmas.

What I find is that the media, CNN specifically and the media in general, except Fox, Infowars and the like, get things right most of the time. Yes, you question. Yes, you need to evaluate. But, you have been played by Trump and his effort to discredit the media because they have his number and know him for who he is. Exactly what Hitler did in the thirties.

James O’Keefe is a dishonest, underhanded person who uses lies and subterfuge to produce slanted “exposes”. If he is someone you hold up as a virtuous person that should be listened to, well, no.
God Bless You and Merry Christmas.
And may God Bless You.

You can say that lawmakers shouldn’t include their compromises in a single bill, but they don’t trust each other that much. Besides, they want to be able to go home and say, “Yes, I voted for Y, but it is what it took to fulfill my promise to deliver X.” They want a direct paper trail.

That, and he does not know how to play well with others. He has always been able to accomplish what he wants by bullying or otherwise abusing power, namecalling, shaming, etc. These methods are not very functional when it comes to cooperative governing.

I doubt very much they “forgot”.

Everyone knew he was a loose canon before the election. They chose him anyway.

Charity, Charity Paul!

We can only hopefully pray that that universe continues to shrink!

Amen, debating Trump i guess it seems like Anti Trumps are very upset, pissed and agitated.

Just want you to hold your peace. Btw thank you for serving our country
I guess I am not seeing that on this thread. Just because some people do not approve of his behaviors/attitudes this does not equate to upset, pissed, or agitated.

It sounds like you want anyone who does not agree with you to “hold your peace”. That is very Trumpish of you! 😃
