Not according Zzyzx_Road who lived in California. He knows what was going on at the time. We are good at rewriting history. He was married and his wife was active in his campagins.

Indeed? If I understand you, when an affair is carried out only to gain pleasure and to use the other party sexually as an exercise of one’s status or power, it’s not unethical.

I understand the ranking of issues over personal moral failings of the candidate. But do religious adherents not realize how mercenary and utilitarian your values appear to us non-believers when you dismiss the many sordid affairs of your man but point the finger at a political opponent for commiting a single affair?

The hypocrisy is breathtaking.

Most people here have admitted that Donald Trump has many flaws. I know I have.
 
I’m saying religious conservatives are the ones who historically railed against sexual affairs. Until Trump.

Whether she received gifts from her lover is irrelevant, unless it was illegal. Did they violate legal standards? Then they should be accountable for that.

But if you are arguing that it is notable purely because it is more unethical than a powerful business mogul cheating repeatedly and according to multiple complaints, assaulting women, you’ve lost me on that double standard.

Have any of these complaints come out to anything in the courts? No. And why are we changing the topic here? This thread is not about Trump. There have been many threads on Trump and all of this.
 
Personally I don’t care if she had an affair with a married man, so she’s an adulterer in the eyes of the Catholic church, I could say the same as our current President, he’s also an adulterer in the eyes of the Catholic church. I voted for him because mainly on the issue of abortion, not because he is some religious leader, they’ll face God one day same as we all will, so best leave the judging to God and worry about how we will be judged for judging others.

Some women work really hard to get job/promotions while others take a different route.

Trump has been married a number of times. That is an issue.

Kamala Harris is the opposide of the man who uses his power to get sex. She use sex to get power.

Yes they do. They often use men to further their position in life by jobs/promotiions too. They get the movie role while some hard working better actress does not stand a change.
