Do you think it is at all possible that just maybe you could be wrong, and that someone who thinks differently than you could be right? After all, I assume you are a fallible human being like all the rest of us.
No, its pretty obvious observing these posts that Catharina is right, everyone else is wrong, unless you agree with her and then you are right. As her inevitable response to this post will surely prove.

[catharina;6530260]Angry, not angry? Who cares?
I support the teaching of the Church.
Did Our Lord ever get angry?
Yes. He did./QUOTE]

I think that an important part of the teaching of the Church is love. If you really believe that we are all on the wrong track and that only you have the truth, then don’t you want us to come to see that and embrace the truth as you have done? Hitting us over the head and calling us ignorant is not going to make that happen. It will only drive us away.

Calling someone ignorant when they act in ignorance is a blessing.
I am very certain of Church Teaching.
As fo those who would follow the lowest road, they have free will.
Maybe first of all, they need to hear they are wrong.

Any truth I hold is truth I receive from the Church.
I am very much NOT alone in this.
I have been following Church Teaching for 64 yreas.
I do stay current. The first and last teaching is always love.

Making ugly claims about priests and bishops is horrible.
Base your words and life in love and you’ll recognize that.

No you are not. Prove me wrong. Type “Women’s ordination is Heresy and to promote it is heretical”

The Church is “right.”
The Church is correct.
The Church teaches truth.

In supporting Church Teaching, I am faithful to the Church.

No you are not. Prove me wrong. Type “Women’s ordination is Heresy and to promote it is heretical”
I need prove nothing to you.
Give me that direct quote from CHURCH TEACHING and I’ll type it back to you.
Until then, you have my response.

(Have you formally established the Church of inhimthroughher?)

He has quite obviously been corrected by his bishop.
Can you acknowledge that or are you stuck in yesterday?
Its amazing that you won’t say it and agree with it. Instead, you turn to personal attacks. Your opinion is now crystal clear.

Yes and others are calling out Heretics on thier Heresy, and correcting you, as the ignorant party, on not understanding what is heretical and what is not. If you supported the Church you would suppport her claims. Just say it its real easy. Type “Women’s Ordination is Heretical and to promote it is Heresy.”
Catholics at large are NOT called to make pronouncements of heresy.
The hierarchy does that. It is part of their jobs.

Now you prove what is your insistence.
Give a Church Teaching that teaches your view:
“Women’s Ordination is Heretical and to promote it is Heresy.”

Whew - I give up. In the words of a song Frank Sinatra use to sing, “Try a little tenderness.” I don’t see any of that in your posts.

BTW, no one is accusing you of saying that women should be ordained. They are just trying to make you realize that when Father Pfleger made this statement, he was making a heretical statement.

From a column from this website:

"Further, in 1994 Pope John Paul II formally declared that the Church does not have the power to ordain women. He stated, “Although the teaching that priestly ordination is to be reserved to men alone has been preserved by the constant and universal tradition of the Church and firmly taught by the magisterium in its more recent documents, at the present time in some places it is nonetheless considered still open to debate, or the Church’s judgment that women are not to be admitted to ordination is considered to have a merely disciplinary force. Wherefore, in order that all doubt may be removed regarding a matter of great importance, a matter which pertains to the Church’s divine constitution itself, in virtue of my ministry of confirming the brethren (cf. Luke 22:32) I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women and that this judgment is to be definitively held by all the Church’s faithful” (Ordinatio Sacerdotalis 4).

And in 1995 the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, in conjunction with the pope, ruled that this teaching “requires definitive assent, since, founded on the written Word of God, and from the beginning constantly preserved and applied in the tradition of the Church, it has been set forth infallibly by the ordinary and universal magisterium (cf. Second Vatican Council, Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, Lumen Gentium 25:2)” (Response of Oct. 25, 1995)."

Read the whole article, it quotes from various Church fathers.

Father Pfleger made a heretical statement when he said that women should be ordained. That is not an opinion, that is a fact.

What you requested

"Wherefore, in order that all doubt may be removed regarding a matter of great importance, a matter which pertains to the Church’s divine constitution itself, in virtue of my ministry of confirming the brethren (cf. Lk 22:32) I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women and that this judgment is to be definitively held by all the Church’s faithful.

Do you need me to define Heresy and Heretic for you also? Or do you know those definitions?

Its amazing that you won’t say it and agree with it. Instead, you turn to personal attacks. Your opinion is now crystal clear.
To state that Catholics are not called to declare “heresy” is simple truth.
What’s incredibly obvious is your position in denying that! You need to learn more.

Give a Church Teaching that teaches your view:
“Women’s Ordination is Heretical and to promote it is Heresy.”
You have backed yourself into a corner here with your last few posts but your obstinate behavior will not allow you to admit it. Sad, very sad.

It is real easy, or should be for a faithful Catholic who understands Church teaching, just type " Womens ordination is Heresy, and those who promote it are Heretics"

I know that - and I can easily quote it:

"Wherefore, in order that all doubt may be removed regarding a matter of great importance, a matter which pertains to the Church’s divine constitution itself, in virtue of my ministry of confirming the brethren (cf. Lk 22:32) I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women and that this judgment is to be definitively held by all the Church’s faithful.

I can not and will not quote your little personal twist on that.
Why would I? Do you get it yet? You do not write Canon or Catechism. Get it?

Also you do not prepare encyclicals.
Feel free to quote them though.
That makes you CREDIBLE.
Code:
cf Ordinatio Sacerdotalis

Huh? What does “I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women and that this judgment is to be definitively held by all the Church’s faithful” mean? If something is to be “definitively held”, doesn’t that mean that if you don’t hold this teaching, you are not in communion with the Catholic Church? What else could it possibly mean?

Your sarcasm is really getting stale.

Wrong. Heresy is, and in this matter has been, declared by Catholics. The Pope and the CDF have defined it you refuse to agree with it.

It is real easy, or should be for a faithful Catholic who understands Church teaching, just type " Womens ordination is Heresy, and those who promote it are Heretics"

Will I suuport the curbside rant of mul;ltiple poster:
““Women’s Ordination is Heretical and to promote it is Heresy.””

Never.
I prefer to support Church teachings -
and so should ALL of you!.

Please, get real.
This is not a high school cheer-squad-
Nor is it a Seniors’ Knitting group.
Quote the CHURCH -
not each other!!!

She won’t write it. Her pride has gotten in the way of the Truth. Either that, or she actually doesn’t believe it.
