I couldn’t understand why you refuse to admit or see heresy for what it is. I now understand. I see you were educated by Jesuits in the 60’s. Big surprise!

You really should see a priest and get this worked out.

Wrong. Heresy is, and in this matter has been, declared by Catholics. The Pope and the CDF have defined it you refuse to agree with it.

It is real easy, or should be for a faithful Catholic who understands Church teaching, just type " Womens ordination is Heresy, and those who promote it are Heretics"
Inisting that I quote YOUR ‘authoritative’ statement
is inviting me to partipate in the newchurch of inhimthroughher.
Thanks, but no thanks. I quote the real Church Teachings.

She won’t write it. Her pride has gotten in the way of the Truth. Either that, or she actually doesn’t believe it.
Ah, yes, pride again.
Seem to be some experts on this thread.

I will NEVER quote an abrreviated cult-y precis
of actual Church Teaching -
and neither should YOU.

Yes but the sentence * Womens ordination is Heresy* is not found in CCCA!!!

The Jesuit saints are likely NOT smiling on you. Ah, well.
I have never stopped studying Theology - I simply don’t invent it as you are trying to do.

So be it.
I should quore YOU?
Ridiculous.

What does the Church teach about women’s ordination?

Then quote this statement, from Pope John Paul II: “I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women and that **this judgment **is to be definitively held by all the Church’s faithful”.

Or is JP II not enough of an authority for you? Obviously, he is not enough of an authority for Father Pfleger, and as a new post now tells us, Father P has declared that we don’t need the Pope.

The Jesuit Saints are rolling over in their graves with what has happened to their beloved order. You are a product of the system and a good example of how it has gone wrong.

You are unwilling or unable to see the truth. Seek help.

Again (as with the posted encyclical) I have absolutely no problem quoting this:

“I declare that the Church has no authority whatsoever to confer priestly ordination on women and that **this judgment **is to be definitively held by all the Church’s faithful”. The Holy Father Pope John Paul II

I simply refuse to quote your ridiculous precis of this teaching.

Thank you.

Now what is the Church’s definition of Heresy?

Do aim this at ‘qui est ce.’

Similar education it seems.

For the record, your opinion of me is meaningless to me.
Your insistence on others saluting YOUR precis of Church Teaching is HORRENDOUS!

Clearly, you have missed a few relevant posts.
Scroll back and learn.
I honestly don’t understand what you are getting at. Forgive me for being dense.

Are you saying the teaching of women ordination is not infallible?

I think we might do well to take a step back from this thread and return later. :o

Do you understand what Catharina is getting at? I’m totally confused. And I was taught by Jesuits at university in the '70’s!

Terrifically kind and wise of you.
In wrestling, football, etc., past posts would be called a pile-on.

If it weren’t so stupid and needless, I’d be amused.
I’m with you: OUTTA HERE!

Read the link above
OK - here is what it says: “Heresy is the obstinate post-baptismal denial of some truth which must be believed with divine and catholic faith, or it is likewise an obstinate doubt concerning the same; apostasy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith; schism is the refusal of submission to the Roman Pontiff or of communion with the members of the Church subject to him.”

Seems to fit with what Father Pfleger said, don’ t you think?
