Who’s refugees, until 2017, simply had to set foot on the soil of the US in order to be granted a fast track to citizenship.Let’s not forget the great failures of Cuba
Why are we so afraid of refugees?

They would likely have been victimized even more if they were travelling alone, and if they are fleeing violence in their home country, they would likely have been victimized if they stayed home. So, if they weren’t in the Caravan to begin with, they would not have been the victims of crime.
It is well-documented that refugees are victimized as they travel across Mexico. It is also well-documented that refugees choose to travel in larger groups for mutual protection.Speculation, nothing backs this up,
I said that myself, however this is not the question. It is well-documented that refugees are victimized as they travel across Mexico. It is also well-documented that refugees choose to travel in larger groups for mutual protection.
I don’t know of anyone who is for lenient border enforcement. I do see people who are for lenient consideration at legal points of entry to those who are claiming asylum.LeafByNiggle:![]()

It was implied here, the point is so much on a tangent, I don’t think I will address it.
However, what we do know is many migrants have been killed in Mexico, they are subjected to blackmail. I would surmise those who are for lenient border enforcement do no favor to these people.
So, one person has already been killed in the 2nd Caravan by a bullet. I don’t understand what you are saying. Your saying this person, a Honduran would have been killed if he stayed in Honduras? That’s a reach. That is untrue for many of the people on the path towards asylum. Most ARE crime victims and that is why they are migrating.
