By your argument, everything must have a designer. To me, an architecture is evidence of an architect.
Who or what created your God?

Convenient for God to keep apart from you … until Seeker 777 comes looking for him ?How convenient a stipulation for a supernatural God you can’t see, all while living in a natural world.
No … just rejected. On the contrary, almost every point I have made, has been utterly avoided.
You are making some interesting assumptions about me.Develop some spiritual eyes … and look for him with them.
Those who seek will find. Are you willing to truly seek ?
On the contrary, it seems that the men and women of God, retreat into obscurity when challenged with reason. No … just rejected.
Put your worldly wisdom up against that of men/women of God … you will lose every argument.
I accept your challenge ! Choose your question, put it in a new thread, sign your name to it … and lets see if the Catholics retreat from your challenge. On the contrary, it seems that the men and women of God, retreat into obscurity when challenged with reason.
In your creator of creator scenario, the first creator would have to be superior to its “child” because the “parent” creator defines the attributes of its “child”. And if the first creator had its own parent, it would similarly be inferior to that parent. This implies a succession of finite creators (finite in knowledge and power). But if the real creator is infinite (i.e., without limit) in knowledge and power, there can only be one. The simultaneous existence of multiple, infinitely powerful creators is a contradiction because one’s “sphere of operation” would be limited by the “sphere of operation” of another. Limited power is not infinite. And a finite God is no God at all. So your difficulty can be resolved by the notion of one, uncreated, infinitely powerful God who exists.By your argument, everything must have a designer.
Who or what created your God?
Not so…you just don’t like the answers. On the contrary, almost every point I have made, has been utterly avoided.
God has always been and you can’t prove that.In that exchange, Moses asked God his name and God replied “I am”.
The answers are less than satisfactory. Not so…you just don’t like the answers.
Only creation needs a creator. God was not created. It’s the essence of monotheism and monotheism has satisfied alot more folks than me.God has always been and you can’t prove that.
That answer satisfies you? Even though, it contradicts the argument that everything needs a creator.
( except God)![]()
The answers are less than satisfactory.
Is the onus not on you, within an apologetics thread, to actually produce thoughtful commentary that defends your system of belief?
Or would you prefer to question my motives, rather than provide an adequate defense of your faith?

Rules don’t permit you to hijack another’s thread …
So far, we have indulged you … since you are a guest.
Start your own thread with your own question of paramount importance … then we can fairly debate you at length. Place your thread in Apologetics section … that is where you will get your existential questions on the Trinity, etc answered most fully.
Is this a fact based on evidence, or is this your religious belief based upon faith?Only creation needs a creator. God was not created. It’s the essence of monotheism and monotheism has satisfied alot more folks than me.
Very well.Rules don’t permit you to hijack another’s thread …
Are you satisfied with the notion that inanimate matter formed itself into an amoeba with no outside intelligent (name removed by moderator)ut? I’m not.Is this a fact based on evidence, or is this your religious belief based upon faith?
If it’s a fact, please explain how you have come to this conclusion.
I suppose that I’m not satisfied that a supernatural being that no one can see or hear, created a natural universe. Are you satisfied with the notion that inanimate matter formed itself into an amoeba with outside intelligent (name removed by moderator)ut? I’m not.
That first line … is anothers choice, for this thread.Very well.
Gods love is not unconditional.
God created fallible weak humans and demands perfection from them in order for his creation to enter paradise.
.
I realize that. But you didn’t answer my question. I tried to answer some of yours.I suppose that I’m not satisfied that a supernatural being that no one can see or hear, created a natural universe.
The answers are less than satisfactory to you…because you don’t want to believe…and because you want to be right. The answers are less than satisfactory.
Is the onus not on you, within an apologetics thread, to actually produce thoughtful commentary that defends your system of belief?
Or would you prefer to question my motives, rather than provide an adequate defense of your faith?
If my objections are not wanted, if the members would prefer to surround themselves with like minded people, then perhaps this particular board should be closed.
Do not fear reason.
