Don’t worry. It will eventually sink in that he lost fair and square.

As somewhat disturbing as it is, it’s also somewhat refreshing to see such activism on the Republican side of the spectrum. These sorts of displays of support of one cause or another have never really been the MO of conservatives. In some way, it’s nice to see conservatives standing up for themselves instead of playing the silent majority.

Well, we must be prepared to see how the US and the world fare with a compromised “Obama 2.0” administration.

Has a US president ever read the oath of office from a teleprompter?

The Jericho part is a reference to the fact they’re going to march around some building blowing rams horns.

It seems to me that a lot of expense and drama could be avoided in the future if State legislatures simply selected the electors rather than going through primaries and statewide elections with huge amounts of out of state mondy flowing in.

It’s interesting, to wake up in a world where the USA is no longer a feasible beacon of earthly hope for those in countries like mine. It was interesting, to imagine for a moment there that the USA might actually manage to fight back against the global momentum that had already so dominated the rest of us.

But no. We’re all in the same soup now.

Well. Here’s to the fact that we all die someday. Keep the focus on eternal life.

Rasoleil:
Americans protesting democracy. Our enemies must be thrilled at this.
Democracy has prevailed, yes.
Oh, I’m pretty sure your democratic enemies in China are pretty thrilled indeed.
I know you can’t fool all the people all the time. But I didn’t know you could fool so many for so long.

Did anyone come up with any evidence by the way? Fifty plus court cases and…nothing.
Dunno what to tell you, Freddy. Except that I personally was fine with the idea of Biden being president, but the way this went down means I have completely lost faith in the American courts and media. They’ve proven themselves sham-courts and propaganda outlets, as far as my perspective is concerned. (Which you don’t, of course, have to care about. I don’t particularly care if anyone cares about my perspective. I’m not trying to persuade you of ‘my’ point – just pointing out that no one else’s ‘point’ deserves a place in my brain unless they prove it. And they haven’t. They’ve in fact gone so far the other way, that no amount of gaslighting can undo it.)

What you can tell me is that someone has some evidence of fraud somewhere that a court will accept.

What you can tell me is that a depressingly large propostion of Americans will believe anything that someone like Trump will tell them. With no evidence to back it up.

What you can tell me is that the GOP has shown a shameful lack of integrity during this whole depressing farce.

What you can tell me is that you wish Biden well in helping your country dig itself out of this pandemic hell hole you have got yourself into.

What you can’t tell me is that if over fifty court cases has been thrown out for lack of evidence that the election was fraudulent.
