Personally, I feel it’s my responsibility to care for my neighbors. But its morally wrong for me to compel others to do the same, as in voting for welfare laws or for representatives who would force them upon us.
 
Yeah it’s stupid but they are required to wear them if they can’t maintain the 6 feet of distance. Most can’t.
 
Right, if we are going to be pro-life Christians I think that should also apply to our fellow adults. But yet on the mask issue, I see ultra cosnervatives with the “my body, my choice” mantra often used by liberals trying to justify abortion.

Let’s try not to be disgusting human beings. Even if a doctor told me you are immune, don’t worry about the virus – I would still wear a mask to humor those around me. Blessed are the peacemakers…

Not at all. I believe in choice. Being offended is a choice and I choose not to be offended. Why would I give anyone that kind of power over me?

But I’m not going to catch a potentially deadly virus from a welfare law and then take it home and spread it to my almost 86 year old father.
 
And you are free to care for your father as you see fit. My father is aged and hates the whole mask thing so I never wear them around him.

You actually trust the Government? Do you really think our elected leaders really have our best interests at heart? If so, I’d like to sell you some beachfront property in Florida (though I can only show it to you during Low Tide). I can also make you a good deal on a bridge in Brooklyn. Interested?

For all practical purposes the mask rules are being imposed on us by “leaders” that only care about getting re-elected and exerting power over people.

What can we do? Vote them out of office? HA! When was the last time a career politician was voted out of office? Besides, the people need relief NOW. Not a few years from now. . . .

Of course I’m free to care for him as I see fit; and you of course have the same right. The point is that if people are out and about without taking precautions, they are putting others in danger - whether they know it or not.

Ain’t gonna happen. It’s rigged in favor of a two-party system. And there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between them. It doesn’t matter who is in charge. Look where they’ve taken us.

I was watching some show last week and the fake announce said they were going to end up going through all 24 letters of the alphabet. When he was corrected, but still thought he was right, his response was, “Agree to disagree.” I thought that ought the be motto of the internet age. Facts, schmacts. Just agree to disagree on the number of letters, what 2 + 2 actually equals, and anything science-y.

Why are they imposing the mask rule upon us? Will it continue after the pandemic ends or will they continue to impose it upon us?
 
FYI, the internet troll that was using profanity in likes is back. He dropped the “ISA” part of the user name. And made a new one. Of course, as I don’t even read articles I deem to be trash, his little blurb doesn’t interest me. But he is trolling “likes” again on COVID threads.

I do not think so. Fluoride and other mind-control drugs are more easily dispensed in the water supply, as well as on the surface of those fake junk mail flyers asking us to change internet providers.
