I currently have four children age 1, 2, 3 & 4 in the house right now. I’ve love to turn them loose on a movie theatre… It might provoke another shooting though.I’ve been through 5-3 year olds. :juggle:
Isn’t it bombs that tend to kill people in Ireland?I have every intention of doing so.
There you have it. America will keep its guns. Ireland can keep its bombs.Isn’t it bombs that tend to kill people in Ireland?
I see what you did there.Do they think Obama is going to keep them safe from homocidal psychos?
That was the UK, i.e. Northern Ireland during a civil war when the IRA were fighting the British army. Arms use in a war are entirely different than legalised firearms.Isn’t it bombs that tend to kill people in Ireland?

I live in Ireland.
Excuse me, I was at that event. Most people had been in line 4 to 5 hours with temperatures near 100 degrees in order to get a seat. We were only told it would not be a “campaign” event in light of the Colorado tragedy until right before President Obama came out. The President gave a very touching speech , but said there would be other days for politics and campaigns. After Obama speech on Aurora shooting the crowd chanted ‘4 more years,’ do they have no decency considering the tragedy?

Possibly the word ‘troubles’ or ‘conflict’ was more user friendly due to the fact the general public had no access to arms - otherwise, believe me, it would have been and out and out civil war. I was born into it - manned barricades on roads throughout the country, army checkpoints on all the roads, armed forces and police everywhere, security checks of everybody entering any shop or social venues i.e. cinemas, restaurants, pubs etc…What war?
I am commenting on what I heard in the video, it was inappropriate however many people did itExcuse me, I was at that event. There will always be people who act inappropriately, but that was not how the majority of the people of Fort Myers acted.
Yes, I’ve seen this before and although very funny and ‘bravo’ it’s lucky he didn’t kill either of them, I doubt he would wish that on his conscience. Obviously all gun crime is to be abhorred but an ‘eye for an eye’ solves nothing in the long run. If everyone had a gun on them in the store and started shooting at the robbers, you can be assured someone else would have been shot and there would have been deaths.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/9413538/Pensioner-shoots-two-teenagers-as-he-foils-attempted-armed-robbery-in-Florida.html
A pensioner with a sidearm foils an armed robbery.
I know what you were commenting on. What you heard was the last few minutes of the event. And things sound different on video than they do live. And not everyone in a room of over 4,000 people will act “appropriately”. Not everyone is perfect. Plus how many people get the opportunity to see a president up close and perhaps shake his hand.I am commenting on what I heard in the video, it was inappropriate however many people did it
Is it possible for you to refrain from this? You know that 14 people are dead correct?I am commenting on what I heard in the video, it was inappropriate however many people did it
I think it is important to bring up lack of respect shown for the people who diedIs it possible for you to refrain from this? You know that 14 people are dead correct?
I think you are telling the wrong people. Is it possible for you to refrain from this? You know that 14 people are dead correct?
You are simply being obnoxious. You take this thread on a Catholic forum and drag politics into it. Point that finger back at yourself sir- you can only control your role in this thread.I think you are telling the wrong people.
Aren’t you the one pointing fingers? You are simply being obnoxious. You take this thread on a Catholic forum and drag politics into it. Point that finger back at yourself sir- you can only control your role in this thread.
Don’t read too much into people who act inappropriately. There is no way to ascertain what motivates their actions. There is a distinct possibility that this small group may actually be hecklers posing as supporters. What better way to disrespect the president and his supporters. Don’t think that either side of the political divide are beyond this type of action.I think it is important to bring up lack of respect shown for the people who died
