Today at 10:00 am they put in my nephew’s central line. We are all sending our guardian angels to be with him. He is so excited to get “His new skin,” as he says. In all things Glorify God! We are praying there are no complications and in the next year to come everything goes forward without a hitch. We won’t be able to see him for nearly a year because of his disabled immune system. What a day it will be when he can wrestle and play like all the other children!

Thankyou for keeping us posted on his condition. Send us a photo when he’s completely healed.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Heavenly Father, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven! May Your Holy Name be glorified in everything. Amen!

His central line is now in and he has been receiving chemo. He wasn’t thrilled with the central line, but he is getting used to it. The family is settling into the Ronald McDonald house. We continue to pray for no complications. Thank you all so much for all the prayers! We truly appreciate it.

Poor boy choked on a chicken nugget last night. Eating is difficult because any friction creates a blister. This happens sometimes and normally can be resolved with time, but now he is having to take medications and he was not up to swallowing even his own saliva much less the medication. They finally got him to take his meds. We continue to pray that all goes well. Thank you for all the prayers.

Praying so very hard for this child! May God ease his suffering!

Thank you so much for the prayers. His throat is much better and he has been able to eat solids again. He is now receiving chemo four times a day and doing well, all things considered. He will get to visit with his classmates today on the webcam and is very excited. I can’t begin to express how thankful we are for the prayers!

God Bless!

Praise God for his improvement and may it continue by leaps and bounds.

The bone marrow transplant is scheduled for Dec. 11th. His sister will be donating the marrow. He will also get stem cells from cord blood at that time. His blood type will then change to that of his sister and he will require many blood transfusions. His Dad has been able to donate quite a bit. Pray all goes well! I can’t fathom what is going through his six year old mind. He just keeps telling everyone that he will get new skin that won’t have so many soars. He and his sister are being very brave!

Thank you for all the prayers!!!

The Chemo finally hit him. He has quit eating or drinking. they are relying on his central line for all nutrients. He doesn’t have a lot of energy right now, although he has been able to keep up his record of “Go Fish” wins. He will readily admit that he cheats to do it though. The transplant is scheduled for the 11th.

Please keep the prayers coming and thank you for all the prayers thus far!!
