So what? If Obama won by a margin of only 10 votes from blacks and single women, we’ll still call him President Obama.
If that’s the case, we’ll call him former President Obama, actually.

For a guy with “no dog in the fight,”, could you root any harder for Obama? I know voting for neither eases your conscience (especially in a state where your vote “won’t matter”), but keeping your fingers crossed and spending your time online campaigning for the President is pretty comical for the rest of us to watch.

am I the only person who knows current military, everyone please look up the cost of 1 battleship, or 1 aircraft carrier or destroyer, then tell me how much it will cost to add 200 plus ships…let me know when you get into the billions if not trillions. and thats no counting the arms on board…1 cruise missile costing 1,410,000…

and the whole thing about fleet size, is wrong, bush had a smaller fleet size under his rule, but thats not the point, the point being a battle group can do more today then it ever could then, in fact 3 ships could do more then a fleet then.

and romney is no saint, not that obama is.
Who is proposing 200 aircraft carriers? No one is proposing to build a battleship.

As for the what a ship can do - don’t you think the Navy knows that when they said they needed a 300 ship navy to meet the obligations the administration laid out to them?

Actually a lot was made about Bill Clinton being a draft dodger.

You don’t need a uniform to tell you that aircraft carriers, submarines and bayonets have all been around a while.
Back to the topic.

I think Obama has really descended from Hope and Change to snarky pettiness. Romnesia? Reminds me of little kids name calling. I can’t stand that. :nope:

Ughh and here is our president doing that.

We have to vote him out.

did you see the florida debate…ask romney he said it

Because there are such large concentrations of such in the 5-6 swing states that will decide the election?

I’d like to see those demographics.

I’m not for Obama. I just don’t appreciate all the dumping being done on him. I was the same about Bush. I very much disliked all the negative things being said about him. I wish, though an impossible dream, that both R/R and O/B would lose.

“The rest of us”? You took a poll of how many people think my posts are comical?

I live in a state where my vote won’t matter either, because the people of Massachusetts who have actually experienced Romney as governor utterly reject the idea of him being president. Don’t you think that’s a bit comical?

Did you not say you liked RomneyCare?

Absolutely!🙂 I’ve made the same observations.

As an aside, I am working at a predominately democrat area and I am told that there turnout
is quite a bit lower that in 2008. When I ask how much lower, I am told that they had more
than double at the same time in early voting last time.
I am told that the same is not the case in the heavily republican areas.

Neither man wore his country’s uniform - ever! A lot was made over Clinton’s lack of military service. What are the patriots going to say about the current situation?
Well maybe those patriots should have gotten off their duff and worked to get a candidate that met their high standards. As it is…we will either have Romney or Obama as president for the next four years. 🤷

And how many posts have you made claiming that?

😃
The problem is that if one is not slavishly devoted to Romney, one is perceived to be a pro-abortion Obamanite. Talking about posts, there have been more than a few accusing me of being pro-abortion because I don’t pray at the R/R altar. And, I have to defend myself as a Catholic.

Vote for whomever you want. There are some here who have declared their intention to vote for Obama, most for Romney, And, some for neither - like me.

Saying negative things? Highlighting facts about the economy, Libya, and whatnot is not saying negative things. Much like highlighting Bush’s debt and deficits.

Do a poll if you want to know what people think of your posts; I can literally see you typing with crossed fingers though hoping Obama wins. You get what you want, with none of the moral guilt. Win-win!

No more comical that by using your yardstick, Al Gore was less fit, and George W. Bush more fit to be president because they didn’t or did carry their home state.

But hey, Mondale won Minnesota by 3,761 votes in 1984!

No, not uncommon actually. Had Al Gore won Tennessee in 2000, he’d be President. I am sure that galls him to this day. You act like this is your first election; it is hardly a novelty.

I couldn’t believe Mass elected a Repub governor when it happened.

Additionally, it was a major blow to the Dems of Mass when Scott Brown took Ted Kennedy’s seat.

Mass is is no lover of the Conservative party.

So, no, I don’t think it’s funny.
