If Trayvon Martin called the police and said some one was stalking him, would this tragedy have happened?
More information a lot of people apparently would never know of!Zimmerman’s Parents in Hiding from ‘Enormous Amount of Death Threats’: ABC News Exclusive
Probably. If Trayvon Martin called the police and said some one was stalking him, would this tragedy have happened?
As attorney general of the United States of America, Eric Holder has access to information which I doubt that people on this board have access to. The people of the United States of America have elected Barack Obama to be their president and he has chosen Eric Holder to be the attorney general of the United States. I have to believe that Eric Holder knows much more about this case than anyone on this board does, simply because as attorney general of the United States it goes with the job to receive and sift through information which is not generally available to the public. And the attorney general of the United States has declared that the death of Trayvon Martin was unnecessary. In my opinion Eric Holder is a racist and a scandal-a-day disgrace to his office. Please don’t put stock in what he says; please consider:
His opinion on brainwashing:

His flippant disregard for a parents right to educate ones child:
cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2013/March/Americans-Warned-Homeschoolers-Stripped-of-Rights/
His failure to apply voter intimidation laws to african american groups (while lying to congress and saying he does):

and the Fast and the Furious perjuries:

This is not even the beginning of tip of the iceberg on Eric Holder’s scandals.

Is supporting a man beating another’s head pro life? Most people who were praising the verdict call themselves PRO LIFE! That is just appalling!
It looks like there are members here who are some kind of hybrid right wing conservatives who put on a fake fascade of being Christians when the fact of the matter is that they are atheists just like the nazis or that political group called dump the TEA, ditch the PARTY!
How?I don’t see why Zimmerman needed to kill him. He could have used non-lethal force or called for assistance.
Looking for justice on Earth is a waste of time. It belongs only to the Lord. TM, like GZ, like all o us, will have to answer to Him for our lives. Respect the decision (especially since the evidence says it was the correct decision, unless you want to just make up the law) and let it go.I accept the verdict, however I do believe jury’s can be wrong and in this I do not believe Trayvon received proper justice.
Not wanting to see a man wrongly thrown in jail for decades is counter to being pro-life? We follow the rule of law, and mourn the loss of Trayvon. Most people who were praising the verdict call themselves PRO LIFE! That is just appalling!

Gotta love the way the feds get away with double jeopardy. Keep trying until you get the verdict you want.He did nothing illegal in the court of law in Florida decisions made by 6 women at this time. This does not mean he will not be found guilty in the next trials.
Or, he is a race-baiting, job-abandoning guy who left Elian Gonzalez out to dry, hasn’t investigated the IRS scandal yet, and appeared to lie about Fast and Furious. As attorney general of the United States of America, Eric Holder has access to information which I doubt that people on this board have access to. So what you are saying is that trial decisions don’t mean anything anymore, and the guilt or innocence of everyone is now determined at the whim of the Attorney General? America now has a one man justice system? Is that what you are saying? If so, then you are saying that America is a dictatorship. The attorney general of the United States of America, Eric Holder, has declared that the death of Trayvon Martin was unnecessary. I am sure that he knows a whole lot more about this case than anyone here.
I went looking for additional info, because picked apart comments can often make opinions appear other than they might. But, her full comments on the issue just make her appear to be just another liberal race baiter. She paints a broad brush over conservative Christians, NRA, the religious right, people who don’t want race to be an issue, the US Constitution & our entire system of laws as all racist.I don’t think the Professor means denominations, Christian or otherwise, but individuals who have prejudiced attitudes, some of which they may be rather unaware of. One can be racist privately without being outspoken or advertising it, as well as rationalize one’s racist attitudes by means of moral values. She doesn’t believe this group of people is a fringe element, and neither do I. George Zimmerman, his words and his behavior, are not an anomaly.
For me, I did not follow the evidence because I know that both sides are spinning this so much it makes one dizzy. Only the jury has the evidence properly submitted so they can examine it. As to coming “late”, this is still a new thread, less than three days old. Catholic Answers does not require anyone to constantly monitor other posts to add a post. On this thread, that would be impossible. What is with this group of “johnny come lately” posters who haven’t bothered to read the posts, haven’t followed the trial, haven’t looked at the evidence but make specious claims for which there is about ZERO evidence in support.
How is not wanting to see an innocent man go to prison not being pro-life?Most people who were praising the verdict call themselves PRO LIFE! That is just appalling!
-Evangelicam Vitae - The Gospel of LifeMoreover, “legitimate defense can be not only a right but a grave duty for someone responsible for another’s life, the common good of the family or of the State”. Unfortunately it happens that the need to render the aggressor incapable of causing harm sometimes involves taking his life. In this case, the fatal outcome is attributable to the aggressor whose action brought it about, even though he may not be morally responsible because of a lack of the use of reason.
Why? Guilt or innocence is not a pro-life issue. The reference to the Tea Party shows a politically motivation. A court of law is not about politics. Most people who were praising the verdict call themselves PRO LIFE! That is just appalling!
