Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

  • Praying for you, John and family that things will proceed in a positive way, for his health and all concerns. Praying also to St. Edward the Confessor, patron of difficult marriages and separated spouses for his intercession on your behalf. Adding prayers to St Dymphna for intercession re: bipolar and suicidal thoughts Praying as well for dear mother, asking for the intercession of St. Camillus. And praying daily for the intercession of Servant of God Father Nelson Baker for your & family’s & friends’ needs/intentions, whether able to post or not…
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell,
lead all souls to heaven, especially, those in most need of Your Mercy.
Amen

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins,
my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen. *

Thank you my friends for your prayers!

Please continue to keep John in your prayers. He left on Monday looking for work but has not found any yet. I did not want him to leave, but I do not want him to become depressed because he has not found anything. Right now he is 1700 miles away and if he doesn’t find anything he will start making the trek home. I pray that he will find something closer and that his mental state will not falter. Frankly, I admit that I am scared for the both of us, but I know that God has a reason for this. I am currently working so we are not in dire straits, but it puts a strain on me. I have been uneasy about John going so far, afraid that what happened to me last time will happen again, but I know things are different. He has been on his medication now for 8 months and I have seen quite a change in him. I cannot let my doubts and fears take over because I know that God will guide me if I let Him.

I continue to keep all of you in my prayers especially those who are suffering through financial difficulty, it is hard to keep afloat, but know that God is with you through it all.

May God bless all of you my friends!

Cassie, I lifted you, John and your marriage up before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament this evening. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, blessed art Thou
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Mother Mary please intercede for Cassie and her husband

Hi Cassie,

Still remembering you and John, whether I’ve posted or not. I hope you’re well. :hug3:

I came across this prayer against depression today - maybe you’ve already heard of it, but I thought I’d pass it on just in case. It might be helpful for John, although I personally find it broad enough in wording to be good for anyone, especially when going through a difficult time, whatever that may be.

Here it is:
St. Ignatius of Loyola’s Prayer Against Depression
O Christ Jesus
When all is darkness
And we feel our weakness and helplessness,
Give us the sense of Your Presence,
Your Love and Your Strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
In Your protecting love
And strengthening power,
So that nothing may frighten or worry us,
For, living close to You,
We shall see Your Hand,
Your Purpose, Your Will through all things.
(From an EWTN webpage.)

You remain in my prayers and I still often include your late father in my prayers for my own deceased loved ones and the souls in Purgatory. God bless! :hug1:

It has been awhile since I have been on the forum. Harvest is in full swing here and God has blessed the farmers with a bountiful crop and has also kept me very busy.

Thank you my brothers and sisters for your continued prayers, they mean so much to me.

John has found work, but is not happy where he is at. He is coming home in the next few days before taking off again for another job. I have been praying that he gets a job closer to home, we shall see.

I have been having ups and downs with John leaving, sometimes crying myself to sleep wondering why I keep doing this, but somewhere between the night and when I wake up, I’ve forgotten my doubt and continue to keep going. John and I have come a long way since my first post over 2 years ago. I know that I have doubted God a few times, but He has always won. I know that John struggles with his bipolar and is still trying to find the right dosage of medication, but he is trying and has acknowledged his illness which is a big step. I ask that you continue to keep John in your prayers because I know that he is a good man and a good father.

My mom is doing well, but misses my dad from time to time. Even though I do not live close to her, she has most of her grandkids within a few miles of her, which keeps her in good spirits.

I pray that this finds all of you in good health and spirits. May God bless all!

Cassie
