Please remember the voters of Ireland......Referendum on abortion this Friday

Because what happens in another country could occur in your own. It’s important to study these things to better but up a fight.

Also, my family is from Poland and I don’t want the same forces that have obliterated Ireland’s culture of life to destroy it.

I’ve been thinking that it reminds me of The Two Witnesses in the Book of Revelation.

Figuratively speaking, the Two Witnesses, the Body and the Blood, have been put to death and there is celebrating in the streets and partying.
 
Is this the first time the people of a nation have chosen in a referendum to legalise abortion?

I think Portugal had a referendum some years ago but the turnout was too low.

Absolutely. A dark cloud of demons hovers over this formerly Roman Catholic land.
Nevertheless, we can continue to pray for the Irish, yes?
 
Good news is:
The politicians of the Fianna Fail party are predominantly prolife and have said they will vote down any legislation to pass an abortion bill in government, which they have the power to do, as they share the power of the government with the other party Fine Gael, 50/50 power share,

So Fianna Fail have , and can, block legislation in government from being passed if they vote against it
 
The sad thing is this isn’t particularly surprising: Ireland, like the rest of Western Europe, has been trending Marxist for some time now. This vote just makes it official.
 
For all this situation is tragic, we must now pray that although abortion is legal practically worldwide, that it is not NEEDED. And, although the people voted for it, we must not judge the people as we know not what’s in their hearts, nor what is in the hearts of the women who have sought abortions. That is a privilege reserved solely for Jesus, who although He is King of Judgement, He is also King of Mercy. Let us just focus on prayer, fasting and penance to render abortion obsolete! With God all things are possible!

As far as I know, abortion is only allowed in extreme cases like in rapes of rape or if the life of the mother is in danger.
 
Democratically elected politicians making law is an affront to democracy?
 
There are just no words for this. So heart-breaking. 😭 Prayers for Ireland, America, and all countries who have legalized this horror. May God have mercy on us all. 🙏
