Mass immigration and mass islamisation. Empty Churches and full Mosques. Muhammad is now the most popular name in London. No-go areas in towns and cities for white people. Homegrown terrorism in UK Mosques etc etc

If churches are empty , blame the Catholics who ought to be in them .

We have several mosques in our town . They aren’t a problem .

As for Mohammed being the most popular name in London , well , so what ? it’s no big deal .
 
First off, still, HUH? The question is nonsensical to me. Does the question assume a proportion of refugee-to-population, or to size? The Vatican is the physical location of the organizational dealings of the Roman Catholic Church. It would be like asking how many refugees have been admitted to the White House.
 
Just curious. Do you live in London?

Are there really no go areas there?

Unfortunately, If he’s relying on the usual suspects for his world news, then chances are he’s being played.

Historically, The U.S. takes in more immigrants than any other country. Our record on this is on the record 🙂

This is NOT and easy problem to solve.

My observations
  1. supposedly out of 12,000 alien children that are in some sort of detention on our border, 10,000 of them are without any biological parent. IOW They are un-accompanied by a legal guardian. Meaning separation between child and parent , took place back in central America someplace, NOT after they crossed our border.
  2. These 12,000 people speak Spanish. 12,000 people on its own is the size of a city. THEN, How long does it take to interview 12,000 Spanish only speaking people to even process them legally? Does an interview take 15 min, 30 min, 1 hr? Especially when 10,000 of those minors aren’t traveling with their parent. Who then legally speaks for those under age kids when they are being interviewed?
  3. Those 12,000 kids traveled the entire length of Mexico, a Spanish speaking country. They already had asylum being in Mexico and out of their own country… they were free and safe, the moment they crossed into Mexico.
What other country deals with and processes the numbers of immigrants we deal with over the decades.

More is not a definitive answer.

That’s part of the problem when the answer is always more.

It’s like the question of how much tax should the 1% pay?

More is more an ideology than a reasoned understanding of underlying limitations.

Well this is part of the problem. The question is couched in emotionalised terms of ‘worthy’.

Western countries are being flooded with millions upon millions of people which is changing the fabric of society. We are not talking about small numbers.

Yes 13 is a small number but there is more going on than Syrian refugees.

What countries (also dangerous and war-torn, like Somilia) would you like to take those “spots” from?

Or I mean we could always simply not let a Europen-who-married-an-American and has a family and wants to move to America to be around aging family come in.

That works, too.

So, the Pope should not comment on issues like the invasion of the Crimea, abortion in United States, Gay marriage in South America, genocide in Africa?
 
I wonder how the Pope would react to a UN sanctioned military task force, kind of like peacekeeping forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, taking on the drug cartels. Also in conjunction with it a sort of Marshall plan to rebuild these nations.

Let’s face it, these nations are failed states.

Of course, this requires money.

Don’t tell others what to do while you make excuses for yourself. America has supported many millions more than the Vatican ever has. America does not have unlimited resources. It takes what it gives to all these people by the threat of violence to the American people. Governments only give what they take from those who actually produce.
 
I am not surprised at all by this. I mean, the U.S. bishops are of one voice, a rarity now days, when it comes to the President’s immigration tactics. Naturally, Papa is going to agree with them. It is the voice of the Church, as the body of Jesus on this world, reminding us of His gospel message, so often obscured in our materialistic nation that only looks at the bottom line and worships at the altar of personal opinion.
