I would like to see the Church have a reasoned position on promoting production throughout the world. especially in poor countries such as where I live. I agree with you that production is wealth and production is the key to lifting people out of poverty, not moving poor people to richer places.

Yes redistribution doesn’t work and one thing that is a worry is that it is the claim of the worst actors of last century to bring a utopia through ‘just’ government redistribution be that Bolshevik socialism or Hitler’s socialism. It sounds very ‘just’ but it never is.
The important question is to understand why America is such a success and promote policies in other places (should people wish) to make those places successful.
There is a terrible Left leaning mantra that tries to equate the Wests success with exploitation, especially of others. This is false and stops people understanding the real reasons why many western counties have been successful - along with those who copy them such as Japan and South Korea.
To me, demanding other people’s stuff is always a red flag.

You can’t dialogue with the devil. Islam will not follow any good example we set. Their goal is simple: world domination. And they’ll succeed in destroying Christian culture through mass immigration and high birth rates. The day will come when England is majority Muslim. The massive Islamic voting block will change our laws, customs and traditions. This is not a conspiracy theory - it will happen and is happening now. That’s why we need to follow Trump’s lead and end the immigration.

I’m from Irish stock. The comparison is false. Ireland was Christian and helped create the culture. The Irish sent missionaries to convert the pagan British. They founded monasteries and centres of learning. The Arab culture of Islam is something radically different.
