In theory you may be correct. But the removal of homosexuality and gender identity disorder, and the substitution of ego-dystonic homosexuality and gender dysphoria (which mean that the disorder is caused by a lack of self-acceptance) is somewhat different from pedophilia, which is a type of paraphilia, all of which, if unchecked, have the potential to harm others because the thrill caused by the behavior tends to require the behavior to become riskier. That is an important difference between the paraphilias and homosexuality. Nonetheless, I agree that political pressure can result in bad changes that affect all of us.

Yeah, I already said that Bill Clinton is immoral. No need to run over that ground again. But does Hollywood actually have a larger than average pedophile problem? Are the numbers of pedophiles there really larger than in the general population? Any evidence?
 
I think so. Obviously they will never release any statistics on it so we will never know. People like Michael Jackson I think are the norm and not the exception in Hollywood. That’s why I try and avoid anything they produce.
 
Given the average numbers of sexual partners, and rate above the general population of STD’s that the homosexual community has, I think there’s evidence at least hinting at the risk aspect you brought up.

I think even just the cursory evidence points at least to a culture of abuse between those with power in Hollywood and those who don’t. In one of the toy story movies there was even an allusion to it in the end to it when the prospector toy had two barbies in his box. It’s pretty common knowledge that producers or whoever will promise roles in exchange for sexual favors.

Our lab used to have a new class every 6 months with 5-8 students per class. When I retired we occasionally had 1 or 2. We even discontinued our formal standing with the University for completing their final lab year. Now, we just get an occasional student for the MT from a Denver university or a student in the MLT program. We haven’t even had the luxury of hiring our own students as they get recruited by other labs willing to pay more. The fight over salaries should be driving up wages…but, it’s not.

Also, MLTs seem much more willing to take Eve/nite shifts than MTs will…because they can find those day shifts right away. The desperation continues! We used to be an MT only lab…then, we relented and took on a couple of MLTs. Pretty soon, MTs will be as scarce as hens teeth!

I would put a “like” on this–but I don’t like it! I just agree with it. 😦

I’m just glad that I am nearing the end of my working career in the lab instead of just beginning it. I fear that many lab jobs will be taken over by more automation–it will have to be this way, as there are not enough real people to do the work, so a machine will have to do it.

Too bad Theranos was a bust, right? I honestly think it would have worked eventually if Holmes had done things right and put the 20 years or more into research before trying to get rich quick by developing a billion dollar Silicon Valley Wonder-Company.

I think that that debacle was a blessing in disguise. It’s a technology that is still at least ten years in the future! It taught wall street and tech companies that there needs to be more than wishful thinking behind medical advances! I was still working when she came out with her new tech. Every one of us agreed that there was no way this could be done without massive statistical error. We couldn’t believe so many bought into it!

I’m glad I am retired…now, I just worry about who’s doing my lab work when I’m sick! 😱

My guess is that has more to do with conservatives being more comfortable in mass gatherings right now than progressives.
 
Adult coloring is different than childhood coloring. I sometimes do it as a hobby.

I suffer from anxiety.

Adult coloring books have very intricate patterns with very small sections. They help you focus on the pattern, and precision of coloring in the small grid. It does help diffuse anxiety.

It doesn’t remind me of coloring as a child. I didn’t particularly like coloring as a child. I preferred to draw and doodle.

It takes time and precision to fill in the sections. It forces your mind to not focus on the anxiety.

This is the second time you’ve questioned my sincerity and/or accuracy when posting. You’ll find that very rarely do I not know what I’m saying. My faculties may be slowly eroding with age but I ain’t there yet!
 
I follow CAF using googlechrome and that works for me.
Since I despise google, I use Firefox and duckduckgo for everything else that I do or follow on the internet.

Possibly as that would increase the practice of sterile sex (decoupling unitive and procreative aspects). However, my bet is on the provision of sex dolls and visual porn to children via the school systems as part of the push for sterile sex.
right now, we are seeing encouragement of homosexual and transgender identification which is sterile and the next step would be moving away for person to person activity altogether. That and a vaccine contraceptive delivery system.
 
One hand washes the other. While the public’s sense of moral outrage is dulled, children will be encouraged to sexualize themselves.

My thoughts as well though not all or even most related to BLM or police brutality …Marxism, Fascism (though with the claim of fighting against it) along with anti-American sentiments
