Praying for all here. I ask John Paul II to interceed. His cause opens June 28th. This is the offical Prayer from Rome released this week, for anyone who wishes to use it.

O Blessed Trinity,
We thank you for having graced the Church with Pope John Paul II
and for allowing the tenderness of your Fatherly care,
the glory of the cross of Christ,
and the splendor of the Holy Spirit, to shine through him.

Trusting fully in Your infinite mercy
and in the maternal intercession of Mary,
he has given us a living image of Jesus the Good Shepherd,
and has shown us that holiness is the necessary measure of ordinary Christian life and is
the way of achieving eternal communion with you.

Grant us, by his intercession, and according to Your will,
the graces we implore,
hoping that he will soon be numbered among your saints. Amen.

I would like to pray for my mom, that everything come out ok and that her second mammogram come out ok, since the first one’s results were inconclusive 😦 :gopray2:
And I would also like to pray that my husband I get both approved for the mobile home park we are trying to purchase a mobile home in, thank you and God Bless you all!
Thank You all for your prayers, my mom’s mammogram came back good!!! 🙂 Thank You Jesus!!! :bowdown2:

For my husband. He starts a series of modified Radiation treatments July 5th. He declined the more radical treatments and additional Chemo as he does not want the non-cure just a shot in the dark, to reduce him to an invalid for the rest of his life (which they would do.) He would have to have a feeding tube etc. and dialisis.

Even the modified treatments are going to be rough though. Every day through August except for weekends. He is already having difficulties with kidney failure and has not fully recovered from the last surgery, so I don’t know how he will withstand the extra strain on his body.

Thank you,
Marie

Please, include children with your prayers. Their prayer is powerful. My heart goes out to you all. Tim

My prayers go out to all requests here.

I pray that I keep in close spiritual contact with God. I pray I do not stray far so that my will does not get in the way of what God’s will is for me.
I am still seeking a job. I have a new interview on Tuesday July 5th at a hospital working in housekeeping. I hope I can find the strength to have patience and look for God’s will. There is something inside me hoping to get this job.

My prayers are for all on this thread. I have been praying that St. Joseph interceed for all those seeking work. I have an interview today and one tomorrow. Please remember me in your prayers.

My extended family has been hard hit with medical problems recently. Please pray for

*Uncle M – my husband’s godfather – was in a car accident recently and is now in pallitative (sp?) care. Please pray for God’s mercy, peace, grace and comfort for his family.

*J – my sister-in-law – undergoing tests for cancer. Please pray for her health and for my brother and their six children.

*S – my brother-in-law – released today from hospital after mental breakdown. Please pray that he finds peace and that my sister finds strength.

Thank you in advance.

I would like to offer prayers for one of our forum members who is leaving the Church…

Hail Mary full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed are you among women and
Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus

Holy Mary, mother of God
Pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen…

For help with my education, this year decides alot of what I can do in University. For my and my family and friends health, for the conversion of sinners and the dying, for the perseverence of the just, the intentions of Benedict XVI and for all the intentions of Christians around the world. Finally for unity between Catholicism and Orthodoxy.

Pater noster qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum, adveniat regnum tuum, fiat voluntas tua sicut in caelo et in terra; panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris, et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum, benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus; Sancta Maria, mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

O mi Jesu, dimitte nobis debita nostra, libera nos ab igne inferni, conduc in caelum omnes animas, praesertim illas quae maxime indigent misericordia tua.

Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto, sicut erat in principio et nunc et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

Thanks for the prayers - they have been most felt in my life. I’m still praying for this thread, even if I don’t check it as often as I would like.

I am just ending a 12 hour work shift, and will be driving a good 8-10 hours tomorrow to a new location. I could use some safe driving + not falling asleep at the wheel prayers, as well as continued safety on this location and on the new one.

A lot of the chaos and the confusion in my life has been alleviated, which I do think is the result of continuous praying. I’ve never been happier in my life.

:blessyou:

Prayers go out for all intentions on this wonderful thread. Special blessings upon all those who takes the time to return and share the prayers answered thru everyones intersessions. These short notes are testemonies to the power of prayer and God’s endless love of all of us. And they should spur all of us on as “Prayer Warriors” ( Way to go MILO!)👍

Please pray for Patricia a woman from ‘down under,’ seriously ill with cancer who just fell in her bath tub and broke her back. She is now comatose and not expected to pull thru. She has a large family of kids (7 I seem recall, the youngest barely a teenager)

In His Spirit, Akpolarmom

As we approach the celebration of our country’s Independence let us pray for our country. May pro-life politicians gain support in all parties. May our country have a economic recovery. May we fight only just wars justly. And may this country return to the values we stated in the Declaration of Independence. May the United States once again become a example for all Nations. May we grow in our compassion for all the peoples of the world.

God Bless the United States and watch over her and guide her. I pray that our Nation turn away from it’s Evil ways and turn to God. Mary the Mother of Jesus pray for our Nation

Dear Comtemplative!

I am begining a novena with St. Joseph I will include the Prayer for a Happy Death .
St Joseph, protector of the dying. I ask you to intercede for all the dying, and I invoke your assistance in the hour of my own death. You merited a happy passing by a holy life, and in your last hours you had the great consolation of being assisted by Jesus and Mary. Deliver him from sudden death; obtain for him the grace to imitate you in life, to detach his heart from everything wordly, and daily to gather treasures for the moment of his death. Obtain for him the grace to receive the sacrament of the sick well, and with Mary, fill his heart with sentiments of faith, hope, love, and sorrow for sins, so that he may breathe forth his soul in peace

Amen
