I need to ask for some prayers.

I have been out of work since May 5th. I have done several interviews with each really leading nowhere. I have another interview tomorrow.

I am not asking for prayers to get a job, I would like some help with getting the right job.
I have two I’m interested in. Two that would both have great benefits.

I don’t know what God wants for me. I do not know why no jobs offers have come.
I get excited over each interview feeling “this is the job!” but I really don’t know. I do not want to have reservations about a job. Tomorrows interview is with a college, it would allow me to go back to school and get a BA which is a life goal for me. I only have an associates now.

This is what I mean, I don’t know if God wants me to be there.
Please pray for me that some answers are given. I would be grateful for any answers-anything a sign-whatever.

I know God loves me and I pray to him everyday but we each have our cross to carry and maybe this is a great lesson in patience for me.

My prayers go out to all of those in need here, I lift those who are sick to you Lord that you put your healing hand upon them, I also pray Lord for those who were victims of todays terror attacks and especially for those who had part in comminting those attacks for allowing such hate and anger go into their hearts, Lord please hear my prayer… :amen:
 
Please pray for all the victims from the London terrorist attacks. Thank you.
 
For those who have died today at the hands of terrorists.

For the families and friends who survive, give them comfort.

For those who search and rescue those who are hurt.

For those who provide medical attention.

For those who will forever be changed by witnessing this day’s events.

For those who committed these awful acts, for they are the most difficult to pray for.

We Pray to the Lord… Lord, Hear Our Prayer.
 
Please pray for Shasta Groene the little girl who was watched her family murdered, and was held captive and raped. Authorities believe her brother was murdered also.
 
Please pray for my daughter who will be flying to a family reunion tomorrow Particularly since the danger level has be raised to orange. Also pray for all those who will be traveling in these dangerous times.
 
I could really use some help.
I am a Catholic and find myself in a bit of a crisis mode. First of all, I am not a whiner of complainer at all and have very few things to complain about. I have good friends and feel like I have a good and strong relationship with Our Lord and Our Church. I’m active in my parish and love to do anything that’s needed for my fellow parishioners and our priests and deacons.
Lately, it seems that everything that can go wrong does. I have a good profession and job but lately times have been tough which leads to smaller and smaller paychecks. Now, I’m having car problems which will eat up a lot of cash and just a few weeks ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Just this week I received in the mail and notice from the IRS informing me that I owe the government over $400K in payroll taxes and that they are placing a levy on my paycheck and my bank account! This all happened as a result of an action taken by an ex business partner 5 years ago. He can’t be found and I’m not trying to hide from anything so, they are placing it on me. I’m not angry with the IRS and I’m not angry with God but I am angry at myself because I thought I could have a better handle on my life by now.
Obviously, my prayers aren’t very effective! I would so much appreciate it if someone can give me some pointers on prayer and how to recognize when God is speaking to me.
Can someone help me, please?
 
Please pray for two of my friends. One is 33 years old and has suddenly lost a lot of feeling and movement in his legs. He is in the hospital right now and they are not yet sure of the cause.

Also, another friend is about half way through her first pregnancy. She started having seisures last week. The baby is fine at this time.

Please remember my two children in your prayers as they are driving to a family reunion. They are the world’s worse drivers.
 
Father I pray for all the intentions of those here,
that they may be heard bless them and hear their needs, fill their hearts with hope and help keep their faith strong during the difficult times. AMEN
 
Please pray for my friend, who had a brain tumor removed yesterday. The tumor was discovered while she was pregnant with her 4th child. She put off treatment for the baby’s sake and the baby was born healthy a few weeks ago. The surgery was 8 + hours long. Please pray that she can stay on this earth to mother her 4 young kids.
 
For the repose of the soul of the wife of fellow CA poster,William Putnam. She passed away on Sunday of a heart attack. And for comfort for William and his family in this time of sorrow.
 
Dear Lord I pray for Wendy and Rob Slattery who recently lost their 10 year old son, I pray Lord that you keep them strong and that you help ease their pain, I also pray Lord that you help Rob find a job so that they wont have to loose their home, Lord I lift this family up to you please hear my prayer. AMEN
 
Thank God the forum is back up and running!

I continue to keep all the intentions here in my prayers.

I am on my way to a second interview tomorrow at the college job and a second interview on Friday with the blood bank job. This of course is causing me anxiety and I am praying that God’s will be done. I could be offered both or be offered none. I am grateful that I have even been given thses chances. I do not take it for granted. It is a bad job market here and the interviews alone have been gifts from God. I have been praying a lot and I belive that God’s will is being done. I ask for prayers to continue to have the strength to be patient and have faith that the answer will come. I say these words from something I read…

Have the humility to ask, patience to wait for the answer, faith that the answer will come…

I thank all of you who say prayers for me here, this forum is a gift from God. I enjoy praying for others, it is a small way that I can do good for another person. I thank God he has given me the ability to see from my past mistakes that I am in his hands. “God does for me what I cannot do for myself”

Please continue to pray for my 4-month pregnant friend, Erin, who recently discovered her husband committed adultery. Please pray for her, her unborn baby, their 3-year-old son and her husband. God, please give her strength during this difficult time.
 
First I must thank God for his help.

As you know I have been out of work for sometime. I was given the gift of two different job offers today. Now I must make the deicison on my own which one to take. These both seem so appealing. I really do not know what to do but I have the weekend to pray over this.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and support through these past months. Now I ask that we continue to pray for those who are out of work. I know how it feels and my heart goes out to those still unemployed. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My prayers are with all those on this thread. Today I am begining the devotion ot the Seven Sundays in honor of St. Joseph the worker. My prayers are for all those seeking employment.
