Hi-

Thought I’d ask all you prayer warriors to please include my husband in your prayers. He is trying to get employment with a company that would bring us closer to family and friends. We currently live far from family and are pretty much isolated with two kids under two. This opportunity would allow them to see grandparents, etc. more often and be able to give us an opportunity to buy a house. We also ask to accept God’s will, whatever that may be, even if it disappoints in the short term.
Thank you

I would like to ask for prayers for my cousin Linda. She has just found out that she has colon cancer. She is meeting with her surgeon this week to discuss the surgery.
Linda is about the most totally saintlike person in my whole family–the rock we all lean on. She is 51 & has 5 children & 2 grandchildren. Her 2 youngest kids are still at home. I know that her husband has to be beside himself…They are such a great couple.
Please pray for a good outcome with the doctors, & for the surgery to be done well, so she can be with us for many many more years…

I have begun the seven Sundays Devotion in honor of St. Joseph the worker. I have timed this Devotion to end on the Labor Day weekend I am praying for the economy of our country. I will remember you in my devotions. This looks like a good cause for St. Joseph as it involves both labor and family. My St. Joseph intercede for you and your family.:gopray:

Thank you so much for your prayers, what a wonderful devotion! May your efforts be blessed.
Just to let you know, the company passed on pursuing my husband. It is disappointing but we are happy to still have a job and know that God will provide another opportunity later. So thanks again and may God bless you all!

Please pray for my wife and her family. As I asked earlier her father had been going into open heart surgery, it was usccessful but there have been some complications.

Today he is receiving shock treatment to get his heart rate up, if this is not successful then he may need a pacemaker. I ask that you pray that God’s will be done. I know this is hard for my wife and her family and I hope to be there for them. These periods in life get very stressful I hope they too ask that God’s will be done and understand we are all in God’s hands.

Thank You all

God Bless!
Joe

I took control of a situation that has been causing me some pain for a good amount of time (over a year), and basically removed the people hurting me from such a close position in my life.

It hurts greatly but I know it’s for the best. 😦

I would appreciate prayers for strength and comfort, if it’s not too much to ask.

:blessyou:

Dear friends

Zooey, Jennifer, Mylo and Compactdiss, all of your intentions remain in my prayers as do all those posted on the prayer board.

If people wouldn’t mind, would you please remember to say a little prayer for me for me to know God’s will, thank you for that.

God Bless you and much love and peace to you

Teresa

My family and I need prayers desperately. We are dealing with a husband and father falling off the bandwagon a son who has no direction and is acting irresponsible a brother who is also dealing with addictions and myself who deals with health issues. Please ask God to grant us the strength to weather this storm and grow stronger He knows our pain and struggles so I need not say more.

Thank you all and God Bless
Kathleen

I would just like to add my prayers for all posters here. God please hear their pleas and reveal Your will to them so that they may find peace.

God Bless

Please pray for my daughter as she is away visiting a Carmelite Order as part of her discernment process this weekend. Thank you!

I humbly ask for your prayers for me… I had a Cancer scare in having found a lump in my breast not too long ago, but, everything came out ok in my mammogram results. Thank God…

THEN in having gone a few weeks ago to have my yearly gynecological exams, I was told last week that the results showed I had cell abnormalities so I had to undergo another procedure yesterday (Friday) to see if a biopsy was necessary… During the procedure two areas in my cervix were found to have abnormalities and biopsy’s were done. So, I am going through yet another Cancer scare…

Please pray that I remain calm and that no matter whatever comes I will be accepting of God’s will for me and can be strong. I am at a very tough phase in my life with so many problems too numerous to write about, plus I suffer from life-long severe depression that makes it hard for me to remain positive.

Thank you for your prayers.

God bless

I write this in tears. I was the cause of a fatal accident yesterday. Myself and family where spared any injury, but a car with 3 people swerved off an inbankment to avoid my car. The passenger was severly hurt, when I got to the car. All I could do was hold her hand and say the Lords Prayer, she died there. May you prayer for her and her daughter who was injured and her family and friends. Her name was Lottie. Her daughter saved my family, but at the cost of her mother. May God have mercy on me. Tim

TOP, Maryam, and others; you have my prayers.

Tomorrow I go back to work after a lovely week + off, which means a 8 hour drive to location, and more 84 hour work weeks. I have about 4 weeks left before I’m done until next year, so I would appreciate any safe driving/safe working prayers for me and the crew.

Thanks.

I have just been unemployed. Please pray I will get a job soon.
On July 24 I began the Seven Sunday’s Devotion in honor of St.Joseph. The Seventh Sunday will be the Sunday before Labor Day I will remember you in my prayers.

Here is the Worker’s Prayer:
St Joseph, example for all those who work to support themselves and their families, obtain for me the grace to labor with thankfulness and joy. Grant that I may consider my daily endeavors as opportunities to use and develop the gifts of nature and grace I have received from God. In the workplace may I mirror your virtues of integrity, moderation, patience, and inner peace, treating my co-workers with kindness and respect. May all I do and say lead others to the Lord and bring honor to God’s name. Amen:

All on this thread are in my prayers. I check each day before I begin my prayers

For Susan Torres and her family. She gave birth today to a baby girl. No word yet on if her life support has been withdrawn. 😦

Story Here

Please don’t think this is silly because it’s for a dog. My friend’s older dog has bad cataracts; recently it appears she went completely blind. We’re not sure whether she can tell light from dark. Anyway I began praying for her and putting a dab of Holy Water on her eyes when I see her (frequently). A few days ago I awoke in the middle of the night with the very clear idea that I should read John 25:9. I don’t know the Bible by chapter and verse, so had no idea what story it was. I read it the next day, and the story was of the man who had his sight restored by Jesus who made mud using His spit and rubbed it in the man’s eyes. Verse 9 is the when the man says “I don’t know if he is a sinner, I know that I was blind and now I see.” (Not exact quote.)

That was, I think, more than a coincidence. My friend agreed. She was truly impressed. My pastor says we should have the goal of getting to Heaven, and bringing someone at least, with us.take someone to heaven with us. She’s my #1 target. She is a non-religious Jew. Since I met her a few years back she has begun carrying relics (Little Flower (she processed with me behind the reliquary holding Little Flower’s relics when they visited from France), Pio) and has bought a rosary. She doesn’t know how to pray the rosary, but sometimes holds it. I think she’s moving towards Christianity.
That line “I was blind, now I see” is so important. If the dog recovered her sight, I think my friend would also “see” for the first time.
If you would, please offer a prayer for physical sight for the dog, and spiritual sight for my friend. I think they go hand in hand.
Thanks.
