From the official Vatican news- the English Channel

Here is also an interview of an Amazon Indian chief that admits said garden ceremony was 100% pagan.

Here on Getty Images ( a neutral website) documenting high resolution photos of said idol and labeling it for what it is, the pagan demon, pachamama.

Here is an incident where the pagans staged a protest in a church demanding people listen to the crys of their earth demon “the mother” (ie pachamama)

I am just wanting a video of the ceremony and its translation into English, no commentary from outsiders.

Thankyou

I read that Pope Francis was feeling quite unwell and left without doing some of the listing on the agenda.
Pray for his health

A literal Amazonian chief is not an outsider. He lives with these people. He knows these people. You can say he’s an expert in the subject.

Time to listen to the people of the Amazon

yes he speaks of a smoking ceremony, which is common in most indigenous cultures.

Have you watched the ceremony. It is for the consecration to St Francis of the Synod. There are lots of prayers and many of those artefacts are to represent the martyrs of the Amazon. Catholic martyrs. It is also expressing care of the eco system.

I keep reading how pagan these symbols are, yet vatican radio is explaining those that are for the Amazonian Martyrs.

Creation and the ecological system is a theme there too, water and the other elements in those artefacts.

Watch it and listen to it, The english kicks in after about 10 mins.

Cardinal Sarah has come out and made a great statement about those already wringing their hands over this synod and trusting in the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for linking this , I wanted to make up my own mind about it, and now watching it, I can.

The title of that last youtube is misleading. Have you listened to it?

Many folks seem to still have their heads in the sand about this Amazon Synod. It has about 5% to do with the Amazon and the rest is a trojan horse to bring modernist changes into the Church, orchestrated by the ever-liberal Germans and others with progressive tendencies. They take advantage of the Holy Father’s openness and use it as a way to advance positions that have been refuted - not only centuries ago, but by Pope Francis himself.

It’s day 4 of this synod, and there’s already been a pagan worship ceremony (before the synod officially started - and there’s no use in trying to defend it as some acknowledgement of the Visitation), a woman dancing around barefoot in a Church with the Scriptures raised over her head, the typical call for an end to celibacy, just yesterday one of the Synod leaders proposed female priests, and then the idea of “ecological sins” was put forth yesterday. And that’s just what we’ve seen. God knows what other ideas are dancing in the heads of these wayward souls.

This isn’t the first time the Church has worked to evangelize a pagan culture. Funny how St. Paul was able to spread the Gospel in Greece and Rome, how the Aztecs were converted in vast numbers, and how Catholicism continues to grow in Africa, without incorporating all of these ridiculous ideas that are just now being proposed so passionately.

Have you watched the entire youtube that francisfan43 linked? The first link. If you have not, you really should.

Liberal Germans trying to reform the Church…hmmm where have we seen that movie before? 16th century maybe?

Conservative clergy tend to like Voris. It’s the liberals that have disdain for him.

I can consecrate the neighborhood protestant church to the Immaculate heart of Mary, doesn’t change the fact that they are in the wrong. Just because a ceremony utilizes Catholic saints doesn’t make it catholic. Case in point: Santeria. It’s a syncratic faith that combines afro-caribbean voodoo with Catholicism. They regularly incorporate catholic saints in their rituals, doesn’t make them catholic. Same goes for this pagan garden ceremony, the same ceremony Amazonian Christians even call pagan.

And yet those websites are the only ones asking the hard questions that no one else will ask.

If it wasn’t for those websites we never would have known what these liberal and corrupt bishops would be planning with this Synod.

Key bishop of the synod even admits the synod is trying to push for women’s ordination. Something JPII put an end to already. If it wasn’t for Lifesite we would never have known the garden ceremony was 100% pagan and the liberation theologists are abusing the Amazonian people for their own agenda.

Sometimes you have to ask the hard questions in order to get to the truth. Even if you don’t become popular because of it. See St. Athanasius in the wake of the Arian crisis.

We cannot effect calumny on CAF.

The Pope, consecrating this synod to St Francis has also taken St Francis as his name, and this Pope is the head of the Catholic Church, and God’s representative on Earth. Pope Francis is The Vicar of Christ. If this Pope can consecrate the hands of clergy to confect the Eucharist, I am sure he can consecrate a Synod to a specifically chosen saint.
Watch the link you gave me, the first one. I found it very educational on actually what the Synod is about. Thank you Vatican Radio.
The entire event is being gravely misrepresented by those in the media with an agenda and fixated IMHO on media whipped up issues that are as yet a non event.

Give peace a chance!

LIberal Catholics don’t even know he exists, and the few that do don’t consider him significant enough to waste time thinking about.

The split between Catholics who like Voris and those that don’t runs through solidly conservative territory. And it neatly lines up with attitude toward Donald Trump. Voris even calls his detractors “anti-Trump Catholics”.

sometimes it is good to listen to someone other than self - I suggest this:
