I see what people write, but our job as Catholics is not to ignore politics, science, the arts, etc. There is much more to life than living the liturgy exclusively, only to ignore all else. We need to expand our consciences beyond what we are handed and develop new solutions on our own too. God helps those who help themselves, right…?
My solutions are through a fully Catholic informed conscience. I’m calling for dialogue with the Sufi Muslims, because I believe they are closer to Jesus than the Salafists are. This is one thing.

Another is to denounce widespread sin -which is Salafist Sunni Islam. You do realize that an entire region of earth known as the Middle East, filled with souls, is living a life completely contrary to what is right? How can we stand by, watching injustice unfold, doing nothing about it? Why not work with the Sufi, to encourage their influence while offering them greater protection?
Of course, this is political. So is abortion… These are choices Catholics like me work hard to understand and come up with solutions on. Because I care. And Pamela Geller understands what the problem with Islam is too, so she shows everyone…
